multiple calls from these people. caller-id just says 800 service.

Calls almost daily at the same time, never leaves message. Caller ID just says "Toll Free" and the number.

Another call from them, also calls from 877-597-0879, 877-597-0880.  I suspect all are connected.
No message left. They all come in as "800 Service"  which I never answer.  I'm on DoNotCall list.

2/20/12  Received a call from this number at 8 AM on the East Coast.  Hubby answered, said "Hello" about five times.  When nobody replied, he hung up.

Claims to be the Leukemia Society. Wants me to mail letters to all my neighbors.

Keep getting calls from 877 597 0882 never  leaves a message hangs up the  second answering machine  answers.

Got a call from 877-597-0882.  Couldn't get to the phone before the ringing stopped; got the number from CallerID.  No message.

Don't know what good the do not call list does.  Called early in AM - I work nights so obviously it woke me up.  Put on block list *60    it works.

Called many times before and also reported this number.  Am on the do not call list and as previous reports they seem to use different numbers.  REPORT, REPORT, REPORT.

The number is for the annual fund drive for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  I called the 877 - 597 0882 and received a recorded message. It has a telephone tree to enter your phone number and have it removed from their list.

I too have been getting these calls, and I just called The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society directly to explain the situation and ask to be taken off the call list.  I spoke with a woman named Marie (didn't catch her last name), and she took my name and number and assured me I'd be off the calling list within 24 hours. She was very friendly, apologetic and seemed to completely understand my frustration.  If I continue to get calls after 24 hours, I'll post a follow up message.  I've included their contact info below for those who may want to do what I did.

Wed. 2-29-12, rreceived yet another annoying call from these people.  Wish they would get a decent job and leave people alone.

Phone rings about 3-times each day and I answer the call, there is a pause and then the phone goes dead (disconnected). How do I stop this number from calling me?  I caution that this call is to see if I am home or not so someone can break into my house.  What are my options?

Is calling NON-STOP!  From multiple numbers:  Absolutely annoying [***]!

Eight calls within the past ten days from 877-597-0878,-0879,-0880, or -0882. ID is "NOT PROVIDED." I think "Leukemia & Lymphoma Society,"  as someone else stated is probably correct.

I agreed to be their neighborhood volunteer one or more times, but the volume of charitable donation solicitations, and that of the junk telephone calls grew to the point where I stopped responding to any, and no longer answer telephone calls until I know it's someone I'm willing to talk to. Last year they again sent me the volunteer package, although I had not spoken to anyone about doing that this time. Of course I ignored it.

I get 2 to 3 calls a day from 877-597-0878 I am a senior citizen and would like these call to stop

I get these everyday.  Call the number back and you will have the option to be removed from their calling list.  This is a Charitable oganization which is exempt from the Do Not Call list.

This number makes the 10th different they are using to call me. I have asked them to stop calling but they haven't. This is now harassment!

I just used the address posted in this note and filled out the form to remove my phone number.  Hope it works.
