I just received a message from this number. Did you ever find out who or what they wanted?

i got served a court date today i think these people were trying to warn me.  i am being sued for checks i wrote that bounced

Warn you????? That is just a stupid thought! You were writing bad checks- it was karma calling. It was your turn to be scammed!

what an idiot!!!!! How would "these people" know you were being served, and why would they warn you?

Multiple calls from this number for my nephew. I have asked them to quit calling. Told them I had no idea where to find him and had not seen him in over a year but they won't quit calling me.

Today I asked for the guy's name and he said Edward Noble with the Dept of Check and Corporate Services. I then asked for an address and he got someone else on the phone who identified himself as Bill Woods. I asked this man for their address and business name which he refused to give. Said he was investigating a fraud case. I told him that I needed his company name and address because I was going to file charges against them and he hung up on me.

i tried to do the same thing, they placed me on the phone with a supervisor he clarified what was going on... i told him i still was not going to pay and hung up... later that week i did recieve a call from the country and i eventually paid but i dont honestly think it is a scam if u ask me...

DIP AND DODGE FOR 7 YEARS AND YOU HAVE NO WORRIES!!! THEY CANT PUT YOU IN JAIL FOR "WRITING BAD CHECK" OR EVEN NOT PAYING YOUR CREDIT CARDS.DONT BE STUPID PEOPLE THERE IS NOT EVEN ENOUGH ROOM IN OUR JAILHOUSES FOR CRIMINALS LET ALONE PEOPLE WHO OWE BILLS.IF THAT WAS THE CASE 70 % OF AMERICA WOULD BE LOCKED UP. Got a call for my son, saying he gave a charachter reference for "Eldra Burson-Cartwright" and to have him call 877-606-2525.  Considering the fact that Eldra Burson-Cartwright is a victim's advocate I really don't think she needs a charachter reference from my son.  The whole call sounded shady to me...

MONDAY APRIL 20,2009 MY SUPERVISOR CAME FROM A 1 WEEK VACATION SHE GAVE ME A NOTE THAT SOMEONE LEFT A MESSAGE FOR ME THE # 1-877-606-2525 X20 THE NAME IS MR. JACOB SO I CALLED THEM THEY SAID THAT IM BEING SUED BY ARROWHEAD INV. IN HUDSON COUNTY CASE #108248 FOR FRAUD CHECKS THAT I WROTE THEY WANT ME TO PAY $780 $300 THIS FRIDAY 04/24/2009 AND $240 AFTER 2 WEEKS AND $240 AFTER 2 WEEKS AGAIN I DONT HAVE MONEY TO PAY THEM ON FRIDAY THEY SCARED ME THAT IM GOING TO JAIL OR THE SHERRIF WILL PICK ME UP ANYTIME.PLEASE GIVE AN ANSWER FOR THIS....

my sister got a call on may 7th 2009 at 9:30pm and the person she talked to waslorenzo lucas she told her that i owed for a cash advance from 4 years agao i dont remember if i do or not,she told her he was coming to our county on may 8th  2009 to the marshalls office and press charges on me for this,i guess the amount was 350.00 but with all the fees he wants me to pay them 980.00 and if i dont im going to court and i dont know what to do about his he has called my brother like 4 times and has called my sisteer and had her all upset she just had a triple bypass,what can i do,

the person i spoke with tonight told me that he would be in my county tomorrow to press charges on me for a cahs advance from 4 years agao,i dont know what to do first the loan was suppose to be 350.00 and now its 980.00 fees

How funny is that. I got the same call on Friday or they are going to file litigation.

They called my mother and told her that they were going to throw me in jail if they didn't get a hold of me. and when I called them to get their mailing address I was told I couldn't have it, so I called the FTC and they are now going to file a class action suit

This is a real legitimate company.  They sell their debt to attorney networks who then sue you for up to five times the amount due plus court fees. My uncle is an attorney in Marlyand and he deals with this company regularly.

They called and left a message on my phone 3 separate times that I am someone named "jones, mumble mumble" a "person of interest" and to call them. I have called them and told them my true name, which is NOT jones, and to quit calling. They have not stopped. I called my phone service provider and had their calls blocked. Harrassment is illegal in California and if they call again they can be sued.

Told me I owed 450.00 to a payday loan a few years ago for a bounced check . They told if I don't pay they will prosecute me.

This is a legitimate pre-legal private firm that has a job to inform people who bounce checks that attorney networks are prepared to pick up their case and sue them in court for up to 3 times the balance plus pre and post judgement fees. I am an attorney and know of this company and have dealt with them on numerous occasions

Its kind of funny that this place calls from the same number claiming to be different companies.  And they all threaten the same thing.  So, what they are saying there is no such thing and how can they enter a guilty plea on your behalf.  that is an outright lie.    ms white tom cowens check and corporate services

watch out for this company they have several different names and where many different hats.  Bottom line is that they will use every trick in the book to trap you mostly illegal tatics.  they get sued on a regular basis and settle out of court.  I hope this helps everyone.  They also have a website at checkadmin.com that paints a rosy picture for themselves don't believe it check out the facts they speak for themselves
