Call from debt collector Kelly Smith of ER Solutions requesting a call back at 877-606-7100

Call from a witch debt collector named Esther of ER Solutions.  I spoke with this &@%*$, and she was very rude, tacky and unprofessional.  When asked her to repeat the name of the company, she refused, asking why, when asked to speak to her Supervisor, she stated "aint no supervisors here".

I have been receiving calls on my cell from Kelly Smith - ER Solutions, I don't answer any numbers if I don't know them... they attempted to contact me several times (calling at least 4 times a day)... this is considered horrasment and I will be pressing charges if they don't stop calling.  I am not late on any bills.  The number they are calling from is 281-529-8099,  but asking me to call them back at 877-227-0053.

Kelly Smith from Er Solutions has not stopped calling me. all the time. asking for don stodard, which i most certainly am not! this is so annoying!

do you bother calling them back to tell them you're not the person they are trying to reach? cuz that's the best way to get them to stop. if you are the person they're trying to reach... I wouldn't recommend this approach. but if you aren't the person, why not shoot a callback and let them know. is that too obvious?

calling you at the number you provided for contact is not harrassment. who did you give the number to? your bank? your phone company? your credit card company? your utility company? the store that issued you credit? some company that wants to be paid! who exactly do you give your number to? one of those companies wants their money. if you're tired of the calls you have 2 choices: 1. most obvious: pay the bill. 2. call the company that is calling you and ask them to not call. is that too obvious? or give them a different contact number.

did you really really want to speak to her supervisor? you may want to rethink that crybaby approach. yes, I said crybaby. whiners complain when the debt collector starts calling. her supervisor has more experience than she does, if she can't get money out of you maybe her supervisor can. yeah, you might want to rethink the whole "I wanna speak to your supervisor" when talking to a representative at a collection agency. try calling the client company who is paying the debt collector to "harass" you when you fail to pay that same client company. your pity approach will play better from that angle. for the debt collector, you are either paying or you're not. if you're not paying and you're still on the phone... ask yourself "why am I still talking to this person?". Hang up the phone!!

Actually most states only allow a 3 call max for creditors. Its nice to see that collection agents pay attention these posts. Now they can berate consumers not only online but on the phone too. How nice.

It is harrassment when your calling the WRONG number 5/6 times a day. What part of wrong number don't you understand. I get calls from ERS over and over and I don't owe anyone anything I have no credit cards my mortgage is up to date and my cars are paid for....So kelly smith your wrong and ignotent.

Except that they are not calling for me, they ask for someone else with the same last name but a different first name.  I live in a large metro area so they have clearly just decided to call people with the same last name.  Not acceptable.  Other bill collectors have called asking for laprincess and rufus and many other names.   Calling multiple times a day is unacceptable.  Once I have said it is the wrong number and not to call back that should be it.

Constantly getting calls from this ER Solutions.  There is a HUGE difference between an attempt to collect on a payment and over extending your boundaries of contact ethics.  I am a collection officer as well and in 21 years of attempting to collect on a delinquent debt have I EVER crossed the line of professionalism into boarderline stalking of a debtee.  There are proper channels and procedures that should definitely be followed when trying to colllect a debt.  As a collector my job is to TRY and contact a delinquent client.  If those avenues fail, you turn to the next avenue of recovery.  People you get constant phone calls from are people who earn comissions on debts or have purchased a debt at a discounted price.  I'm not siding with the debtee in any means, but am concerned on the "BAD NAME" we get as collectors because of these unethically insane practices.  PLEASE STOP AND THINK ABOUT IT THE NEXT TIME YOU DECIDE TO HARASS SOMEONE BECAUSE YOU KNOW AS WELL AS EVERYONE ELSE IN THE KNOWN WORLD THAT THAT IS WHAT IT IS.

I am not behind on any of my debts so I have no idea why they are harrassing me. Also, I DO NOT give my cell phone number to no one. Absolutely no one has my cell phone number. I use it to call out, not to receive calls. I block my cell number when I call out. So, Kelly Smith, where are they getting my number? Perhaps they're calling wrong numbers, way too obvious.

Keep getting calls all the time from a Kelly Smith @ ER Solutions asking for a Robert Cook. No one here by that name. Can't call them-no #. Idiots!!!

Recieved call stating "Hello, My name is Kelly Smith, a debt collector". The name they mentioned no longer works here and the last time I checked, they are not allowed to state they are a debt collection company unless speaking with the person whom it concerns.

This call was not even 5 min after I returned a call from "Kelly Smith" to tell them that it was the wrong number and was informed that Kelly Smith isn't even an employee just a name they stick on thier automated dialer.

Whats the use of telling a collection company that person doesn't live/work here, if they continue to harrass people by calling the same number. Glad we record the calls at work. Will have a nice bonus when the lawsuit gets filed thanks to thier stupidity.

Kelly Smith called looking for me. Her pre-recorded message asked me to hold while she looked my account & then she hung up on me. What's up with that?

It is harassment if the person you're looking for has asked you to quit calling & has sent a written statement via certified mailed to you requesting you to do so.
The FTC will contact you about this if the person you're contacting has followed the FTC guidelines.

Does anyone happen to know what type of debt collection agency Kelly Smith with ER Solutions is? I'm current on all my debt, and I don't want to call back just to be harassed into paying something I've already consolodated through CredAbility. Do they collect on credit cards, loans, etc?
