I just got this telephone # last week and since I've had this #, 8770607-4238 calls constantly all day.   I dialed the # back to see who it was and someone answered and said *this is niki* no company name or anything.  They are very annoying

changed our number to hopefully stop getting annoying calls--here we go again

it is lock tight security, they siad they are part of ADT security

I also just recently got a new number. THis AA male from supposedly ADT, keeps calling our home from a 877-607-4238 number. ANd not taking NO for an answer. Sometimes 3 and 4 times a day. Often at night. 5 days in a row. Very weird. He asks for lots of info and offers some special pize from ADT.  Beware!!!  Local police notified.

Same Complaint here.  I missed picking up the phone in time, called the number back right away.  Got a female with only first name, no company name.  Told her my phone is on FTC and Florida No-call lists don't call again.  I then got a callback from a guy number registered on caller ID as private.  He wanted information from me in order to remove me from their list.  I told him he didn't need any information just stop calling and hung up.  He then called back 5 times in a row!

The caller has called my home nine times within the past two days.  They leave no message.  On 4/29 they called at 1:59 pm, 7:34 pm and 8:23 pm.  On 4/30 they called at 10:57 am, 11:48 am, 12:27 pm, 5:21 pm, 5:37 pm and 6:04 pm.  When I first got my number they called every 11 minutes and I told the lady that I had an alarm system already installed in my home and it worked fine.  They claim they are from ADT.  I have finally put my phone on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  I would like the calls to quit.

I just got a new number also and this number has called about 7 times already!

I recently changed my number. now i get lots of wierd calls from many numbers. sometimes i answer just to see what they want and to tell them to stop calling. and usually when i answer they hang up. a couple of days ago i began to make a log of all the nuisance calls i recieve every day. i plan on taking this information to congress, so that some action may be taken to protect our privacy and peace of mind.

I just got my phone number Friday evening. Monday afternoon these idiots called me and asked for me by name. They started saying they were offering home security systems to new homeowners. I then politely said "I rent, don't own and I'm not new to the area just a new number".

Interestingly enough 1-my new phone number is unlisted. 2-my phone company claims they don't share that information.

I did have my phone company put my # on their do not call list as well as registering with the Natl list again

we keep receiving calls from this number 7 times a day, mostly during the evening. Very annoying and when the machine clicks over to leave a message, they hang up. We haven't answered nor will we!

I got a new number this week, and already these idiots are calling.  Of course, no message left by them.  I won't answer junk calls, numbers I don't recognize, or private numbers not shown.  Going to the "do not call" list today, and hopefully that will help.

We just had our phone hooked up, and allready were getting these call's.

Same here, brand new phone number and immediately we start getting these calls.  

What I want to know is:  WHAT IS THEIR POINT in if they know you aren't going to bite, or if they just call every five minutes?  No one does something for nothing, especially if it costs them money.  Are they trying to hack into peoples' phone lines?  Is it really true that they're just trying to get us to say "yes" on the phone so that they can record it and later say that we said yes to buying some service?

It's kind of scary.

10-12 times a day I have had enough!

After asking them during 3 different phone calls to stop calling me, I finally just got rude with the lady. She refused to take my name out of the system after I asked her over and over again. She stated that she couldn't because she didn't know who I was... She took my phone number home with her and has been continually harassing me by calling from a blocked number, cursing me, then hanging up.

Also a new #, rec'd call, did not answer it, they did not leave message.

told caller to put us on the do not call list and she got very very rude with me, not a way to conduct business.

People from this number have been calling my home number everyday for about 3 weeks now. Every time I ask them to put me on the do not call list, they just hang up on me. My number is a relatively new number (about a month old), but this is getting ridiculous.

My husband came up with a way of answering the phone from this number that amuses him. When they asked for him by name he said, "This is ___, may I have your home phone number?" In shock, the marketer said, "What?" So hubby said, "Well you called me at my home, so I figure I have the right to call you at yours." The marketer hung up. It has not stopped the calls, but he is having fun answering the calls in the evening. With Caller ID, I just don't answer that number.

I am going through the same thing with this number 877-607-4238. I call back during the day and it shows up as Capital Blue Cross. Then I call at night and a Nikki answers. I just received my new number from Centurylink (embarq) and when they call they ask for me by name. How do I stop it?
