Same as everyone else. They call and claim they have a "private matter" to discuss. They ask for identifying information such as social security number. When asked who they are they identify themselves as EEOCA. They try to assert that I owe money on my college loans. I told them that I graduated college in 1982 and those loans were paid off decades ago but the calls keep coming.

Received message from Carrie Smith asking for information on whereabouts for someone I haven't seen in 23 yrs or had any contact with.  Called back to find out how they had my info and you only get recorded voices .. no real people.

they called here.. and it was a recorded hello this is not a sales call.. we will be with you shortly... I figured after so many times of ignoring the calls because it's not a number we know, I'd wait.. after the 6th time it repeated they would be with me shortly I hung up... How royally stupid!

No message just calls,calss,calls. I will not answer if the caller is unknown. They call three - four times a day. Sometimes they call before 9:00 a.m. and

received call today from cca debt collect on an old att cell phone bill aug 17th at 830am we received one on monday august 13th 2012 i picked up on monday it was an automated  call wanted me to identify myself to make a payment i did not respond by giving them any account numbers told the to send me a bill i would verify it and then go from there sincerely richard kio

I have received 1 call that went to voicemail which stated that this was a collection issue and I was to call back.  I called back and no one answered.  Since then I receive multiple calls a day.  Does anyone know how to stop this?

It's a collection agency for Verizon Fios. I had closed my account 6 months ago and now they call my mom to try to collect for equipment they say I didn't turn in (I did, I remember the day clearly). In the middle of trying to sort this out with Verizon.

This was the 2nd time they called my landline (my phone # for 32 YEARS), asking for a prior tenant.  This time they had the gaul to tell ME to CALL them!   So, I did.. pressed 2 to speak to rep (never would I assume to be disconnected by any machine), and waited.  Sure enough, a sweetie came online and I asked to be disconnected and to be told what # they would be disconnecting.  I was placed on hold appx 1-1/12 mins (just fine with me, I like plugging up their lines), and was informed that from this date forward no calls would be directed to my phone.  

Also, i complained to the "Gov No Call" department and just got off my phone with Verizon (of which I am a customer through company merging for over 35 years, and a Fios customer, too) and raved and ranted directly with Verizon's sales people.. why don't you do the same?

I received the same call stating her name is Carrie Smith and they needed my assistance trying to locate my sister, the recording stated it was an attempt to collect a debt and please call Carrie back @ 877 870-4207.

I do not wish to receive unwanted phone calls from these types of companies.  I am an 80 year old senior citizen and I do not appreciate needing to get up for the phone for a bogus call. I am on the National Do Not Call list but for some reason these call still keep coming through to my phone. Even the politicians don't know how to stop bothering people.

Wow - "Carrie Smith" sure is busy!  Typical set up.  Asking help to locate so-and-so. Different number to call back 877-489-1148. No company name left,  Called over holiday to see if voicemail would id company. Was ESCBA.

I get this call every morning between 8 and 9 AM for about a month now. Never leaves message and only rings about 4 times. I work late so this often wakes me up. If I am able to answer before it stops ringing, there is no one there. I have never had a Verizon account nor any debt and have had my phone number for nearly 40 years. How to make this stop??

ATTENTION - LET ME MAKE A CORRECTION... I received a call from the same # you guys are reporting... but when I called back they did not say CCA they said EOCCA....So google who the hell is EOCCA and report it.  I already did.

I called back and the girl Connie said they were a call center and did not answer my questions about their company, she just took the defensive attitude asking for my phone number over and over again. Then our call was hung up by her.  "She did say, I cannot speak to you since you are not giving me your number, you are just giving me the run around and I will terminate the call."

hang up on these pukeoids,, they are a debt company lowest of the low. trying to collect on a debt that over 15 yrs old,, dahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh    the persons dead they are calling for, i keep telling theys idiots but they cant understand englisk,, lmao.

we get calls from 877-611-1815 3-5 times a day.  anything information someone has to say they can say in a letter addressed to our home.

Got a automated call saying they were a debt collection agency & I needed to call this number.  When I returned the call, the person I spoke with said they were trying to contact (saying the name).  I told her that a lot of companies called looking for this person, that I didn't know this person, and I'd had this phone number for a little over 2 years.  The person at this agency said she would void my number.  We'll see if it works or if the file just gets bought by some other debt collection agency.

Sick of being harassed and bothered. Leave me the heck alone

We keep getting unsolicited calls from a company identifying themselves as EOCCA. they call from 877-697-7554

same here.  CCA for Verizon.  they were calling for a person that used to use our home phone number.
