This is the second time I have been the victim of this company taking $149.95 out of my bank account.  I called after the first time and was assured this was taken care of.  Now their phone # is busy.  My bank has suggested I cancel my charge card and they will go after them.  In the meantime I will not be able to pay another $300 bill.  I hope everyone pursues action against these people.

I have had this taken out of my checking account twice in two weeks.  These people need to be stopped.  What can be done.  I am checking with my attorney.  You try and call them and the phone is just busy busy busy you can never get through.  RIP OFF!  They need to be reported to the BBB.

Never received a call. Just found a charge on my unemployment card for $149.95, with only this in the merchant/ATM location: 8776167330BUSINESS WEB / , 877-616-7330 , and the transaction type stating: CASH PURCHASE. I called the number, it was busy. I looked the number up on Google, and found that that number belongs to elearning.com. But the website is called DCA (Direct Commerce Academy) Coaching program. It's some online subscription company, but it states there to have been a 7 day trial period for $2.97 and that at the end of the trial there would be a charge of $77.47 each month! And yet my account was charged twice that! And I have no idea who they are or what they got into my account for! I never submitted to a 7 day trial either!
There was yet another number to try. They said on their website that canceling could be done at anytime at this #: (877) 304-1475 or emailing support@elrearning.com. I called that # and got some chic by the name Sabrina, employee #8023 who said in looking my name up that I was signed under another company and that I had to call my financial institution to get the name of the company and the correct phone number! Then when I blew up at her she finally said she was getting her supervisor (even though she claimed there was nobody else for me to talk to when I asked,) gave me an alternative # in case I got disconnected, and put me on hold....for too long to deal with since I was on a cell!
Now I'm in pursuit of getting a new unemployment/child support card! Looks like if I don't, I can expect another charge!...and no one able or willing to stop them! If anyone knows what we can do to get our money back or to stop them, please speak up!

I suggest you call your bank and shut down credit/debit card and have them reopen a new card with new #'s. that's what I was told to do because we were scamed also and it is being investigated as a fraud alert

    Good Luck

Still trying to get things squared away with my card. Unfortunately they didn't use my regular bank card...THEY USED MY UNEMPLOYMENT/CHILD SUPPORT CARD NUMBER! And I never use that card as a debit card, just as a credit card, so I never remembered my pin number. This means they won't accept my call when I call the customer Service number on the back!  :-/  I've called the banking institution, both local and national, to get somewhere, and still gotten no where! I've never had to inquire about obtaining a new card before. IF ANYONE HAS ANY IDEA WHERE I SHOULD GO TO GET THIS MATTER RESOLVED PLEASE SPEAK UP! I'm open to suggestions. Thanks! ~Julie

    Hi Julie,

I was also charge $2.97 by ICM websites to receive literature and then in very small print at the bottom of the literature it states that they will charge a one time fee of $149.95 and then I found out by calling them they then charge an add'l $74.95 a month after that for their service.  THEY DO NOT TELL THE CALLER THAT THEY ARE GOING TO CONTINUE TO CHARGE YOU!!!  Wow what a surprise how all these illegitimate companies can continue to work in the U.S. I would love to get a job busting these [***] and making them return every dime and make them pay penalties to every person they stole from.  When I called ICM websites to verify this charge wasn't them a lady who spoke so softly you could hardly hear her got loud and defensive and said ,"You have already called here today about this and we did not charge your account."  Now if they are doing nothing wrong why are they so defensive?  She said<"We did not charge you $149.95 because you closed your acct on May 25th!"  I said,"Well I will get to the bottom of this and you better hope I don't find out that it was your company and that you are flat out lying to me, HAVE A NICE DAY, CLICK!"  I can be rude too lady.   I have called my bank and canceled my bank card.  Apparently this is the only resolution to the problem and I was assured that they will investigate and that my bank is pretty good about returning account holders money.  We will see.   Oh by the way the telephone number showing on my acct is 1-877-616-7330 and says BUSINESSWEB and guess what the number is continuously busy.    I have tried to research the telephone number as well as the company name and unless I want to give out my card number again then I can't find out anything and I am not giving out my card number EVER again to these thieving people who are allowed to steal from US Citizens who DO work hard for a living.   The telephone companies should be held just as liable as the people stealing because they have no recourse to be able to tract these numbers and as long as they are getting paid they are responsible as well.

Well with seeing the telephone numbers you have listed obviously they are running a major scam and scrambling it all with many different telephone numbers as to make it harder to be traced.  There has got to be a way to stop these people!  If anyone has any ideas let me know, I am game to do whatever it takes!

I did not get a call from this number but it shows up on my bank statement.  The only company I authorized to use my card that would even come close to relating to a business like the one listed on my bank account is ICM Websites.  What a coincidence that they just happen to also be a business building website company like the one who charged my checking acct. but claim they know nothing about it.  HMMMMM  can you say RED FLAG!!!!
Why did ICM Websites get so defensive with me when I called inquiring about the charge???   If they are honest and are scamming then they should also be concerned when everyone thinks it is them? Yet they get defensive instead.

Yes I did order some information for the one time charge of 2.97 and then I cancelled my acct when I found out that they were going to charge me $149.95 and that was on May 25, 2010 and today they charged my account $149.95.  Yet they state it is not them charging me and was very defensive.  The number of the charge on my account is 877-616-7330.   I have canceled my bank card and filed a fraud complaint with my bank.  My bank states that Atlanta, GA is one of the largest fraud cities in the US.  Oh lucky me!

The only thing I can suggest is always cancel the bank card # they used to charge you.  It is the only way the bank believes you have no knowledge of the company and that you didn't authorize the charge before they will refund your money.  If it continues to happen and you did not cancel your card then they will start to doubt the account holder and can refuse to refund your acct.
I am speaking from complete experience.  This has happen to me three times with three separate card numbers in the past two years.   These companies are paying for our card numbers from another company is all I can figure it to be.  This may be why ICM Websites got so hot under the collar when I called and questioned them.  I honestly feel they have something to do with these bogus charges.  If they do not then they shouldn't have a problem talking to people who have been ripped off.
