Recorded message.  They call from a "private number".  I've let it go to my machine several times, and they say the person's name they are looking for, and tell you to hang up if you are not that person! IDIOTS! If you are that person, you're supposed to call them back or go to  www.warningnotice.com and type in the code they give you over the phone. In our case, the person they are looking for is my FIL, who never had our phone number, never lived at our address, and is now deceased.  I'd like it to stop, but I don't want to talk to anyone or leave any information on their website, because I'm afraid I'll NEVER get rid of them!

I must be their "red flag" special today. I've received 7 calls from this (Toll Free Number) I don't answer the phone , not unless I know who's calling. Identify yourself and maybe I will answer.

This is Credit Collection Services Two Wells Ave. Newton, MA 02459  www.warningnotice.com which then takes you to https://www.ccsusa.com/ccsnotice/lookup_phone.ihtml where you can enter your phone number and the code they give in their message.  I did not enter that so I do not know what happens next.  The site is in the U.S.

This is an automated voice message telling you not to repeat the following information and saying that they are tax collectors asking you to go to their web address to give out personal information on your checking account.

Some guy named Robert Burke or something called my grandparents home phone looking for me. My Grandpa asked him who he was and he would not state a company, his reason for calling or any form of identification other than his name. He just told him my "file number" and that was it. So I googled this phone number and came up with this page, leading me to that warning notice site. At this point I already suspect it is a scam but I put the number in for the heck of it. It says it is a personal file for Ashlay Numbleton or some bs name. Don't give these people any of your information. I hope there is something to do to stop this crap if it continues.

These people have been calling my mother's house asking to speak to my brother who has been mentally disabled since he was 17 and does not have any credit.  Although he has a checking account for his ss benefits so they are getting information on him somehow.  They will not release any information other than to go to their website for details.  I am getting a copy of my brother's credit report just to confirm there is no identity theft or anything but it seems like this is likely a scam

I get calls from 877-620-6000 and it claims to be a creditor looking for someone named Holly Martin, when I call them to say I am not Holly Martin, I am connected to a sex-phone line. Very annoying. I am often woken up early in the morning by these idiots and will be calling the police soon.

I got this call while watching TV. They called and asked to verify my address, as i started to give it i noticed the lady was typing what i was saying..... i stopped and asked if she was trying to verify the address or get my address. she then said she did not have an address and needed one. thats when I  really knew something didnt sound right! I hung the phone called back and told them to take my number off of the list and i wasnt the person they were looking for...... I hope it helps!

I have received this phone call ever since I got this new phone and new number. And they wont even say your name or anyone's name for that matter on the recording. But it is getting quite annoying and I know its not for me because no one has this number under my name.

i got a phone call from this number it was a legitimate medical bill i owed- a lot of comments say that no one wants to talk to them and their calling the wrong number - how are they supposed to know the number is wrong if you don't tell them - pay your bills - i did and they stopped calling me

call them back and tell them its wrong - they don't want to waste their time calling you if its not you either - also try being professional when you  ask them to remove it that always helps

how would that help you verified it was you! call back find out what it is for- then give your address - you could have something end up on your credit report because you think hanging up gets your name removed - so not gonna happen - step up to the plate and handle it

hmmm? probably for medical billing! have ur mom call and tell them he's 17 if shes his guardian they will talk to her .

call them back and tell them its the wrong #. why would they waste their time calling him if its not correct - do not be rude when you call that will definitely not give them a reason to do everything they can to help you
