I keep having the same message from these people and it has gone on for 3 months. I have called them back several times to tell them that the person in the recorded message does not nor has ever lived here. They always appologise and promise not to call back, but, thus far, they always do.

They call, I answer and no one is there. Now they call and let the phone ring one time every hour starting at 8:00 am. I'm changing my phone number. I don't owe anybody and there is no reason for a collection agency to be calling me. It started last week. The second week in . And now it is everyday. Maybe I shouldn't have answered.

Guy calls anywhere from 8:40am to 6pm. Introduces himself as "Mr. Garcia" with no clear reason for calling. As he finishes his message, he says, "Best of luck to you." What does that mean? Must be a collection agent?

Yep, two calls and an e-mail (after I gave him the addess) today, supposedly from bayareacredit.com regarding an ambulance ride of my father's in 2003! Refused to give him or his supervisor (all with very strong accents) any credit card or checking acocunt info after they had Dad's address totally wrong.

My parents are getting spammed by this number as well. They also do not have an account with Capitol One.

I just reported this guy today to the federal trade commission - you should all do the same - the guy who I talked to Daniel Street, was badgering, threatening and demeaning. He called regarding a supposed student loan my husband had and wanted personal information that we refused to give. That is when he got mean. Please do call the FTC and report people like this.. 1-877-FTC-HELP Thanks!!!!!
