Called three times so far today. No messages left, and cannot locate information on who this is.  Very annoying.

Answered the call, but I didn't hear anything on the other end (waited about 10 seconds).

Message says Advanta.

Called and did not leave message.

caller have no response when we answered.  received about 10 of these calls.  now we do not even pick up when that number shows up on caller ID.  call back had message that says message is being recorded but no identification.  We assumed it was either a tele-marketer or prank call.  waste of time.

Yep - it was Advanta that was calling me and no response on the other end for several months now.  I am glad I waited on hold to talk to someone for 5 minutes when I returned the call directly back to them.  They were able to alert me to a problem with my account and lowered my interest rate.

Calls several times a day, never leaves a message, so I refuse to call back, must not be that Important!!

Was a loyal and up-to-date Advanta customer for 18 years.  Three months ago they informed us they were closing our business card, after jacking the interest rate to 35%.  The only person I could speak to was a non cooperative call center agent in India.  Now they want to call me?  Sorry, they had their chance to negotiate when I called them three months ago.  They should have thought about the ramifications before they got so greedy.  They ruined my business. Now they'll get nothing.

About 10 calls from the number.  No message and no response when I answer the phone. If it is Advanta, they screwed me and many others over too.  Seems like they're still trying to make people miserable.  I thought they went bankrupt.  Someone needs to irradicate this company for good.

Its Advanta Bank. The FDIC shut them down. I guess they are as broke as we are.

I have received 5 phone calls this afternoon from this company. They state that they care a credit card company called Adventia (At least it sounds like that). I have repeatedly asked them as to why they are calling me but since I do not have a 16 digit account number (I have no clue what credit card company. This is one I've never heard of and probably would never use.). They ill not search me by name but they punch my name in their"computer" and then say, "We have no record of that number." So at 5pm today 11/3/2010, I informed them that all their calls would be recorded and they would be billed a reasonable amount for unsolicited use of my cell phone.  My number is on the do not call list. What can I do. Once would be understandable, even twice could happen but  the problem should have been resolved by this time by this time. The customer service reps are very patronizing.Does any one have any solutions to get this stupid company from calling? Advice would be appreciated and probably followed as long as they are legal. I just got a call from that number [877-630-5819] What I did was saved that number as a contact and made their name (Do Not Answer). So when they call again "Do Not Answer" shows up for collar ID. I am doing this for all the incoming calls I do not want to answer.

Called because missed payment, to arrange payment to prevent reporting as late.

By law, they can only call you once a day. If they call you more than once a day that is considered harassment and you can file charges against them. If you inform them by certified letter that you do not wish to be contacted by phone, they must cease and desist. If they do not they are liable to be fined. You can file a complaint through the FTC.

Keep calling me too. Had two accounts with them that are at ZERO!  What the heck do they want?  Really annoying.

Keep calling and hang up. They could at least stay on the line.
