text message 1}99621 calls about 7:15AM Pst EVERY DAY ATTAMPTED  to call closed for holiday

Started receiving $9.99 charge from this company and I had never subscribed to it.  Called Sprint to report it and in order to be sure it would stop I had to put a total block on my phone since another company started doing the same thing to me. I know I never subscribed to either place. My brother just had the same problem with his phone from a different company and he says he never subscribed to anything either.
Why isn't the government doing anything about these scams?

Got a bill for 9.99 listed as 40544 MMText(800)4166129. I never heard of these people before. I have no clue what they do. I have no clue what I'm being 9.99 for. Got it blocked by T-Mobile. We;ll see if they force me to pay or not.

I received my US Cellular bill this month and it had a $9.99 charge that I did not recognize from 1-877-661-1136. I never signed up for anything and had no idea who these people were. I called US Cellular, found out it was for some subscription. US Cellular took the charge off and put a block on it for me.  I couldn't figure out how a charge like that could show up on my cell phone bill. They said sometimes just going into a site online will sign you up for this type of thing.  One time I went into a site and looked at a coffee pot, just looked!!  The next thing I know I got notice I had purchased a $100 plus coffee pot!! How do these people get away with these scams.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. 5 different times in 1 week. That's 50 bucks right there. T-mobile said they couldn't do nothing about it, and that i have to pay for it. So i emailed funmobile and bitched them out.

I just talked to tmobile our phone was slammed with 7 of these charges on on two consecutive days!  4 of the charges were from these scumbags 2 on one day and 2 on the next day the other three were from Cell fish and predicto!  Unbelievable that they can do this. TMobile blocked the calls and blacklisted them.  They said that I need to pay the bill but it should be credited on my next statement as they have to call the companies and get the money back from them.  They said to not open any text messages that you get unless you know who they are from.  If you have tmobile they should be able to get these off your bill.

I get a teat # 26451 every month from top-logo-ringtone.com stating my 49.95 subscription to Polycub is due and will be charged. I tried to call the # 1-877-661-1136 and no dial tone, etc.

I entered the wrong amount. It is $9.99

I called into Tmo today and told them I have no idea what 40544 MMText(800)4166129 for 9.99 is for on my statement. The rep was not only useless but she started to raise her voice and said I accessed it through Tzone, which is incorrect because I never use Tmo Tzone or data service through Tmo.  I have another carrier, which gives me unlimited everything. Anyways,  I got irritated and requested to speak to a sup., she was no help either. They told me they will block the subscription but can not do anything for me regarding the charge.  Long story story, I canceled all service with them. I will never refer my friends or family for Tmo service again.

Same situation here, got a 9.99 charge for MMText on one of the phones on my plan, called T-Mobile and apparently it was caused by following one of those [***] links on Facebook - like the quizzes or IQ things and whatnot.  They blocked it, and said to stop future charges we had to text "STOP" to the number showing up on the bill.  Basically it was a successful phishing operation to get you to click the links and whatever, then they'd pull the cell number that was on the profile.  Moral of the story: F*** Facebook, MySpace, and all those other personal information invaders.

Correction: The charge was to MMQuiz, not MMText.

My daughter was filling out a job application online and apparently placed my phone number in what turned out to be a popup for these creeps. Sprint has now got the number blocked.

This happened to me after putting my cell phone # into an online Sam's Club Customer "Survey".  Called Alltel after seeing the 9.99 charge on my last bill.  All the bill said was 82561download 877-661-1136. They basically said it was my problem and to contact the company I "ordered" the service from-well, good luck with that.  Looks like I am stuck. What a scam!!

They did the same to me.  They tried to say I replied with a four-digit PIN to their text, but I never even got a text from them!  SCAMMERS!!!  Tmobile blocked them.

These guys are nuts, i didn't sign up for anything, and two different scammers charged me 9.99 each for this stupid crap. they said i downloaded and subscribed to them and said i entered a 4 digit pin which i dont even know about. Called tmobile, they gave me credit and blocked them

This company, The Sun Mobile Co, in the UK,  offers ringtones for a one time charge of $9.99- BUT THEY KEEP CHARGING this fee on a MONTHLY basis. Call your cell phone provider and get unwanted numbers blocked, and ask for a credit on your bill. If you don't get unwanted numbers blocked, this fee will be charged monthly! STOP THIS SCAM AND REPORT UNWANTED CHARGES IMMEDIATELY!

The Sun Mobil Co., UK, scamming and phising for your info to charge fees on your cell phone bill, on a monthly basis. Report 877-661-1136, Call US (877)3sendme and (800) 360-0518, these numbers are scamming you- have your cell phone provider block these and any more unwanted numbers, or you will be paying this fee until you REPORT SCAMMERS AND PHISERS!
