I have received a couple phone calls from this number.  The message is an automatic message and says something to the effect of "This is a call for an important business matter please call me back at"--- they leave no number the message just cuts off......  I have no idea who it could be.  If anyone can shed some light on this I would greatly appreciate it.

Same thing happened to me today.  Just now.

It is Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton, OK.  I verified this today at their main number of (580) 355-8620.  I tried to get any Admin on phone, but was refused.  I did get someone in Business office, a nice patient-rep (with no authority) who told me it ws known that the 'system' was calling people and causing problems, and they have gotten many complaints.  I asked if there had been any attempt to stop the harassing calls, and of course, that isn't something a patient rep is privy to.  The Administrator by name of Steinzmetz (hope I spelled it right) apparently knows how Comanche County Mem is disturbing people with useless calls (no one *ever* on phone when called, just silence until the receiver figures out that no one is there.  It appears that Steinzmetz intentionally wants people called with nothing said by Comanche County Memorial at all, and when you call back the shown number, its set up so that you are never allowed to  get through - ~"we are busy with other customers'.  I've tried numerous times to get through on that, so I say this with all honesty:  Comanche County Memorial, per Steinzmetz's decisions and directions through Business  Office, calls homes just to disrupt their lives and makes it difficult to find out what the call was about.  Nothing was volunteered by Comanche County Memorial to resolve this long-time problem that they are VERY aware of.  Nothing. A crude Internet search shows the extent and duration of complaints about this exact problem, particularly if you factor in those that do not take time to make posts such as these.  I say all this as a truthful statement after a semi-lengthy conversation with an (honest!) patient rep who seemed upset this happens and likely is tiring of people calling on same thing repeatedly.  Nothing can be done at their his/her -grade, so to speak.  

Nasty, nasty place to choose to do business with.  No concern at all about who they choose to harass daily was show by any authority figure with two calls from me to try to resolve this problem without resorting to shaming them with some sunshine (ie truth of what is really happening by a business).

Same silent phone call at 8:30 PM.  I called Comanche County back and spoke with a worthless 'House Supervisor' by name of Tommy who stated the only thing to do is fill out a grievance form (yeah, like its my labor to fix your problem, Tommy!).

Apparently, Comanche County feels that since it is a third-party company doing these calls, they do not want to solve it.  I will make sure to make everyone aware of what a problem this is, first I shall find the numbers of Trustees  so I can call them afterhours at their homes, then I will take more irritating action(s).  I have had it with these mules who *want* folks to be called at all hours with NEVER anyone on the line.

Again, Comanche County and all the Admin and Trustees know this is happening.  And choose to allow it to continue.  No one chooses to make it stop.  And I have asked more than one person, who stated its a well-known thing.

I know that there Nursing and Medical care follows closely with how all other things go,so make your medical choices wisely.  Comanche County does not choose to provide a quality service even when it is obvious there is a huge problem.  I would not trust my care to a company that blatantly does action(s) such as Comanche County Memorial.  I hope to get an on-the-record comment from Dennis Butler, an attorney on the Board, as well as other 'Trustees'.  It would be nice if his home # is listed, otherwise he needs some calls at his office (in phonebook for all that need it!) so that he may be fully aware of what he is associated with.  John Zelbst is another public name responsible for these calls, and a few more at Comanche County's website.  Nothing quite like putting faces to the ones promoting such activities.  It is all verifiable for those that wish to fact-check the above.  I have been told that Butler is not the Chairman anymore, yet Comanche County fails to provide accurate information.  It appears inherent at Comanche County to be wrong and do things without any basis (like crank-calling persons who have never been serviced by Comanche County!!) and plead innocence while laughing at misfortunes of those caught in the middle of it.

Today, I managed to record a phone conversation with most of the bigwigs (in a meeting) at Comanche County Memorial.  It was admitted to me that it is well-known about the crank-calls from Comanche County Memorail.  They did try and say it had been fixed, but with me having spoken to at least four different persons over the pasttwo weeks, I know that I was being deceived by everyone in the room.  I did overhear one person whisper that he should not be saying that he knew of the problems, LOL!  Dummies...

If anyone receives hang-up calls, contact these  two attorneys that are Trustees of Comanche County Memorail...a John Zelbst, listed as Trustee and a Dennis Butler, who currently remains listed as Chairman {but everyone says otherwise - who to trust? printed/published material or those persons who are already fibbing at most every question asked?)  I know that I lose trust immediately when I am deceived, and CCMH has been quite consistent in its deceptions with the harassing calls and saying it was fixed when lots of persons at CCMH told me otherwise (like the woman in t he Business Office).

And a moment ago, Tom Stenmetz called me after I told them to never call me again.  CCMH listens rather well, don't they?  I had to turn on my recording *again* to document that CCMH had already been told to not call this number.  Ignorant fools do not allow sounds to be processed properly, or so I have been told.  A classic example of a company that refuses to see reality as something other than what they imagine/dream.

Steinmetz confirmed to me that Comanche County Hospital does pay a third-party company to do the harassment and hanging-up actions.  It is not an accident that people are receiving calls without anyone speaking or anyway to contact the actual caller.  It is meant as pure harassment since there is zero oversight on who receives these hang-ups - even if you have never been a patient of Comanche County such as myself, you might get called by this company.  Jerks - should have a pic of Comanche County's Trustee's by the dictionary entry.  Could not be more accurate in my opinion.  The harassment is BY DESIGN with several attorneys assisting and providing input (by their very existence on Board of hospital), it appears.  Zelbst and Butler are quite the example of why attorneys are seen as such lowlife's of society.  Butler even wants it advertised that he is still the Chairman since he did not ask for the website to be corrected.  What an attitude for accuracy, right?

Happy to report that it appears (from checking Caller ID's etc) that the no-one-there calls have ceased to my number.  I was never specific about what my number was as I focused on making all the calls of that type stopping - not just one person, but all persons getting such manner of calls  Maybe it got better at a 'system-level', as in 'not just me'.  Time will tell, of course.

For what its worth, I would be thanking someone if I knew that a person made a reasonable effort to address the issue, but after making a few calls (memorable to receiver?!) and hearing from a 'leader' that as far as he knew it had been fixed a few months before...a number of persons definitely did not either forward my (and others') message/complaints or the messages/complaints were promptly placed into the round-file for final action.

No matter, its been at least 3-4 days without calls from Comanche County calling as late as 9:30 PM to say not a dang word  :-)    Nicer this way, for sure.

I was wrong.  This number just called and had no one present on the line.  Same ol' story.  Raising hell once again is not what I planned on today!

Well, Steinmetz is trying to play ignorant here.  His 'work' cell number, should you receive a hang-up call from the above number, is (580)512-0836.  He has stated he was aware of the problem before ("thought we had fixed this in December" is a quote from him with 100% accuracy!), yet this morning he tried to tell me this is first he's heard of it.  Managerial-speak attempt with total failure of responsibility.

I am fairly certain that at least one of these two listed above have received info about this issue, so saying they have not been made aware is not accurate at all.  These two attorneys should know exactly what is happening and most likely are totally aware of such antics they represent.

I got a call from this number 877-664-8016:no one on other line. then when you call the number back they make you stay on line and wate??????   then they want you to give them information over phone are they whom they say they are are they a third or fouth billing whom knows.

I actually happen to know the program that is doing this, its called eClinical Works (eCW for short). eCW is an outpatient clinical system that sends out automated messages to remind patients of their appointment with the provider. It usually will have a message to alert them of their appointment the day before. It is apparent that your number must have been mistyped by one of the front office staff members. If you give me your number, I could probably get your number unlisted from the program. Although many people know of this particular issue, I have been working personally on this since the moment we realized it was faulty. I will report this issue once again to the "powers that be" and hope that they will fix it this time. Hope I can help out in some way to make up for frustrated times.

I agree whole heartedly. Since beginning chemotherapy I have had difficulty getting a good night's sleep and received a call from this number at 8:40 AM. Not really early, but it did disrupt my sleep. I cannot understand what reason anyone would have for using a system that does nothing positive. Seems to be a waste of money. My insurance company assured me they sent a check to CCMH about 3 days ago. Perhaps the hospital should call the insurance company and leave the patient alone. I hope not to receive anymore calls from this useless service.
