Said they were "Houston Texas Package Company" and had received a parcel for my daughter by mistake. I was to call back a leave a message at extension 2635. No such company - collection agency???

same company called me but stating the samething for my son, a parcel delievered to them by mistake

I got the same call.  I was told it was for me for a july birthday, I am not expecting a parcel in anyway.  
The girl i spoke with said it was sent to an old address of mine.  SHe asked for my existing address and perhaps a work address for me.  I only gave her my home address.  She also stated that the parcel was insured and told me it would arrive at my house within 6-8 business days.  It has been longer.  I have called and left a bunch of messages and no one has called me back.  No matter what extension I type in it always brings me to the same mailbox.
lol still waiting for this so-called package for my birthday. lol I don't think it's coming and am very tempted to call the police with this matter.

I forgot to mention the lady, she said her name was Tammy, said she was calling from Houston Texas.
I live up in Canada and do not have collection agencies calling me for anything so I'm confused when some said it is a collection agency.
On my caller id it came up unknown name private number.

Wow my call was word for word same as the above "July Birthday" This can't be legal.  People will try anything.

I just called the # again.  I left a message stating that they where commiting fraud by claiming they are a specific business and that I have reported them to the FBI.  Good luck with that.
