They just called with a prerecorded message over something I know is false. They threatened to have me arrested if I didn't pay immediately;  I said, go right ahead, and I will sue you for everything you own for false arrest. She hung up.

Actually you could sue them now but probably couldn't get much. Threatening arrest over unpaid debt is a violation of Federal Law.  You, the FTC and your State Attorney General can go after them.

also only a district attorney can file criminal charges. they are liars. just ignore them. Report them. They couldn't tell me who the original debt was from.

Was left a message over trying to be served, I returned the call and told the lady they had the wrong number,  she said "whatever" I then told her her tone was not very professional,  she then told me to go [***] myself and hung up.

I called the real Lane Powell attorney firm in Seattle  Washington and they said they are aware of this scam and the FBI is doing an investigation.    Hopefully these [***] can be stopped.   No idea where these people are located.

Received several threatening phone calls regardin. somesomething i know nothing about. Threatening warrants for arrest n legal actions.

They were looking for "roxanne hudson" in the message they left me (I am not "roxanne hudson" but maybe my name sounds like that?), saying it's from "mister stevens", also saying they're trying to serve me with paperwork at my place of employment; my first reaction was to reverse lookup the number, and what do ya know, I found other folks getting the same stupid message. Awesome. They won't be getting a call back from me. Thanks to those of you who reported this same number here.

They started to use foul language with me. I AM trying to find there address so I sue them. They vilioted so many laws it's not funny. I have them recorded on my phone. I am ready to take these people to court.

These calls are scare tactics to get people who have debt problems (even really old debts) to pay-up. My lawyer said this was illegal and to ignore them - deal only with him or the creditor directly.

I received an automated/robocall call from "anonymous" caller ID on my WORK phone of all places asking for "blank blank".  That this was "Mr. Stevens" calling to serve papers at your place of employment or home. To please call back 877-670-1087, if you have questions for the plaintiff.  When you call the number back it goes to "Lane Powell & Associates", if you press 0 you get "Intelligence Systems", if you press 0 again you get "Vince Geller & Associates".  This was an obvious scam from the initial message, and the fact that they are calling a place of business is BS.  I've reported this number to the FTC and have notified the law firm of this as well.  

I've been getting SO MANY calls from numerous scam artists it was getting irritating, frustrating, almost making me want to pull the phone out of the wall. But let me tell you what I did:
1. signed up for the do not call list.
2. wrote the scam artist's number down, with date and time.
3. check 800notes.com (of course they are scam artists)
4. THEN I CALLED THEM BACK.
5. I made sure they were aware "I AM RECORDING THIS CALL" (alot would just hang up after I said that)
6. if they didn't hang up, I'd LISTEN TO THEIR WHOLE SPEEL (still recording, this is evidence if you do need to file a complaint)
7. at the end I'd say: IF YOU CALL MY NUMBER AGAIN I WILL FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF (whatever state you live in) AND I WILL FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC. PUT MY NUMBER ON YOUR DO NOT CALL LIST AND DON'T CALL MY NUMBER AGAIN.  
8. this works!! I was getting calls from 16!! different scam artists and NOW no one calls!! BUT IF THEY DO...
9. I DON'T CALL THEM BACK I JUST FILE THE COMPLAINT. EVEN IF IT IS A RECORDING, I FILE THE COMPLAINT. only 1 was stupid enough to call back, so I only had to file 1, so far.

I too have been getting the calls from Charles Dickerson and now Mister Stevens.  The mistake they make in their message is to tell you to call the plaintiff.  No legit service would have you call the plaintiff.  They would either tell you to call them back, or call the attorney associated with the case.  But, the bottom line is it is a scam - your best bet is to ignore them.  Or if you do call them back, record the call as Portis did.  But never react to them - the reason they swear at you and yell at you and threaten you with arrest (violates credit and collections laws) is to get a reaction out of you and to get you to reveal additional information to them that they can use later (or sell to other scam artists).  That is why it is best to not call them back - if you do, you've verified that your number is legit.  Not answering and not calling back leaves them in limbo - you're not confirmed, which means they're less likely to sell your number to others. A confirmed number is golden in the world of scam artists and debt collectors.

I just received a call from Mr. Stevens on my cell phone regarding a crazy paper serving about setting up a time and place to meet. I got 4-6 calls previously from Charles Dickerson about the same thing. I don't return the phone calls. I block there numbers on my cell phone & never get the same number but I am sure they have tons of numbers to call from. I am not playing with scammers. they can KMA.

That's going to be hard.  They are hiding their location pretty well. They are spoofing the Lane Powell Attorney firm in Seattle. Then they may not be a regular business entity; I think they are just a group of ex-cons and petty criminals working out of someone's house.  You really don't know who you are talking to.

My parents got the call today, they left a message on the machine looking for me. They stated needed to deliver paperwork to my home or office and if I do not show up to court, I will have to pay a $50000 bail. I called back, got a guy and once he found out it was me, he hung up (since I have a history with all these scams and they all know me now). Second time I called, got a woman on the phone, asked what number was called, then she started talking about paperwork to be delivered to me, a summons. I said OK, which county court are you using and all she could tell me is the county name, not which court. There are 4 district courts in the county she mentioned, then she started talking really fast, I couldn't get another word in as she talked over me and all I was asking is which court are you using? Then all of a sudden, she talked about a $50000 bail and to see me in court. Then I was about to say, great can't wait! I'm so excited to finally meet one  of these scam artist. They will be happy to be in jail once I get a hold of them.  

People of the USA: If these scam artists call you and start talking about paperwork for court, ask which one they are using, not just the name of the county. you can ask this question so you can call the court and  verify the information. They won't be able to answer, they will get mad and then hang up.

SCAM artists/Terrorists! Who knows what they are doing with American Money, people don't give them one cent!

Got a call stating that they were going to serve my husband, to call and ask to speak to plantiff, when I called they tried to extort money for a bill that was 15 years old and paid, don't call the number don't listen, just report it, when I said I reported to police, FBI and credit card company made more threats then quit calling.
