Another American rip-off

Called and asked me if I wanted to know details about a Cuban resort vacation I booked - I don't travel outside Canada!!

No idea of caller and they did not leave a message.

A canned message told me that I had won a trip to Mexico. "Press 1 to claim it", "Press 2 to have your number put on a do-not-call list"

I pressed 2 but now I am not sure if that was a bad idea because they know that our phone number is actually in use.

I got the same kind of call and didn't care looking at the number. I should have 'cause I never answer 1-877 They're mostly all scam...
Then I eard the click and that recorded voice...
Congradulations you've won and bla bla bla...
Whowever that might be... Kiss my ass...  
What's strange is that the Canadian Federal Government passed a law recently
just like in the States, but it doesn't seem to be applied. I never got as much calls since they passed the law. They claim that you can file a complaint at the CRTC but that's a dead end... They won't even bother!
It's too bad I can't locate them on the Web, a nice little bot on their server would keep them quiet for a while...

I called this number and I hear music.  Keep calling this number.  Maybe it will cost somebody something.

Recorded man's voice yelling "Congratulations" you've won some vacation package or other, and if you press "1" quickly to claim the prize, you get another free add-on.

The person called informing me that I won the trip to Mexico... Told him that I am not interested in at all and decided to hung up. It is a scam!

I just got a call from that number....it was for a trip tp cancun...i hung up. these peopel called me several times before and would leave me msgs because i wouldnt answer then i put myself on their do-not-call me list...........clearly it did not work!

Do not call lists only works if you don't have a phone, these fcuking clowns and the BOZO'S they work for should be shut down !! Unlisted does not work either... If your not in my contact list I will, never, ever, ever answer my phone. Really do you think I have the same level of education you have ? That's why your in this job you as* clown.... Phone rage is going to replace road rage very soon...

Called me with vacation scam. They were promptly Rick Roll'd.

Called on a Friday afternoon, did not leave a message.
When I called back, classical music without any welcome message was playing until I finally hang up after more than 2 minutes.

Al Quadia (Al Qaeda) terrorist money raising operation ran out of Tehran. Recording threatened to kill President Obama. Informed FBI & US Secret Service and they are looking into it.

Claimed I "won" a vacation to Cancun. Would be nice to know how they got my office number as it's unlisted... probably an autodialer.

Called Saturday AM. Silence.
