got a text said i had a card holders service alert to call this # 18776846966

I rec'd 2 text messages on my cell stating there was an acct issue with beneficial bank.  I do not have any accts with this bank.

I texted them bk and told them f*ck off.. I was bankrupted. Text message was about account services Compass Bank877

Said they were with AT&T and needed to replace the copper wire at my location with fiber optic.  Gave fake names and ID numbers.  I called AT&T and they confirmed that these were scammers.  BEWARE.  Don't give out any info.

Said they were with AT&T needed to schedule a time to come to change the wiring.  Needless to say I looked up the number to see that it wasn’t AT&T.

"hello my name is [whatever] and I'm your AT&T account rep" no you're not, nice try, go away.

Told them they were a scam, and he said no we'll send someone out with an id, and they confirmed my address and they obviously they were looking online, and gave me our old addresses, then they hung up

Keep calling my business and leaving messages about an appt to install fiber optics.  This is not the first year this has happened from these scammers.  If they were associated with  AT&T they would already know about the use of fiber options at my location.  They left this scammer number (786) 706-8106 to call them back on.  Look that one up and see what you get.

Someone with a Philipino accent called pretending to be from At&t wanting to upgrade me from wire to voip to save me money. Verified with my att representative and THEY ARE FRAUD. Do not accept. Do not say yes to anything since they can record it and have you committed to changing your carrier.
