Selling merchant services

These people called our business on 05/01/14 at 1625 hours.  A man asked for the owner.  When told the owner works on the road he asked to talk with someone about credit card processing.  I told him we're not interested, stop calling.  Every one of these credit card processing merchants promise the moon.  If everyone was cheaper than the last guy then there wouldn't be any fees left!  They must make a lot of money to be so pesky.

Do not have credit card machine but will not leave me alone called at 6:30 this morning Grrrrrrr

Don't take credit cards have not taken them for 32 years but yet they still keep calling

This number keeps calling us!! Already twice today!!!!!! Too bad the phone mysteriously stopped working each time they've called hehe

A guy calling with merchant services...when he was denied the owner he abruptly hung up.

Call and hang up at 7:30 in the morning
Obviously some type of illegal scam

They called from this number, recording said "You are the only person in this conference." I hung up. Called back and some weirdo saying hellloooo like he's [***] [***] or something.

The Do Not Call list and law protect you from legitimate telemarketers - the photography studios and time share sales-pests who used to call.  For a scammer its just one more law to break.

The Do Not Call registry doesn't apply to businesses - if you can believe that. We get more nuisance calls than any residence. It's criminal.

The DNC list is NOT for business phone numbers.
Evidently you did not read the information at

which includes this statement:

"Can I register my business phone number or a fax number?
The National Do Not Call Registry is only for personal phone numbers. Business-to-business calls and faxes are not covered by the National Do Not Call Registry."

They just called our small business. Asked for owner by name, when pressed for details said he was with Blue something and were a merchant services company. Asked him to remove us from their call list (yeah, that will happen) and blocked the number.

Isn't that what I said? Businesses cannot use the Do Not Call Registry.

They have called my place of business several times in the last few days. I think they are selling credit card processing.

what do i do to get this number from calling our business

Got a call from this %#$@!* number early morning, which woke me up from much-needed sleep.
No message.
Added to my blocked call list which now = 105 --105 Bogus #'s from just the past 2 months.
This is happening to at least a dozen people I know.
Infuriating.

If politicians spent a fraction of the time they spend on non-existent 'voter fraud' then this Real issue would be mostly resolved.

ANNOYING!! Calls my business & hangs up. When we call the number back they answer "hello" but then hang up
