Call looking for me by full name. Obvious cal center, assumed to be collection agency asked to leave number, I refused.

Got call,  they asked for a unknown person and I told them no one here by that name,  they said when will they be home I repeated no one here by that name,  then they told me they would have to keep calling me until the dedt for unknown women was paid the dept and they did not want to have to take my house,  asked them if them mined holding will I conference on the police department.   They said sure I then they said F* U* and hung up on me.  I called back and they claimed they have no record of anyone calling my number.    Told them I was filling a police report  in IL that's considered a money scam and a felony and they hung up on me.

Got a call on my cell saying I owed Verizon wireless. I asked for a bill and they said they would send one. They did not ask for my address

There have been many ATTEMPTS to call us from this number (Name Unavailable) the last couple of weeks, as many as three calls in one day.  We pay for our phone service so that we can talk to friends and businesses we know, not to inconsiderate, interrupting and annoying (at best) and unscrupulous spammers/scammers (at worst) callers. We consider this an invasion of privacy,  and many of these calls are made illegally.  BUT we have a SOLUTION that works for us.  We bought a phone blocker a year ago and have blocked 120 individual numbers (the actual count from the phone blocker).  We do not answer callers if we do not recognize the name or number.  Usually they leave no message.  If we have a question as to who has called, we then check 800notes (thank you, 800notes!) and for most calls there is info posted.  If we wish, we block the number.  Then when they call again, their number displays on the caller ID, there is one short ring and they are automatically cut off.  And we can sit back and smile.  What a relief!!

Same deal as before,   This time they told me they were required by law to keep calling this number until a paid the debt of a person with a made up name.   The are getting more imaginative now.  The changed their normal script they try.

Told them I would live to have their name and address so I could send a payment.  ( I only ready wanted it to pass to police on a police report)  and they said they were not allowed by law to accept payments by mail  was funny as hell.

They said they would accept 200 on a credit card they and only then would they be allowed by law to stop calling,  I told them no one was stupid enough to believe that scam

Told them hold on and then just started reading this group to them one after another while they were yelling at me and getting upset and she told me if I did not stop their systems would be forced to call me every 5 minutes for next 24 hours so kept  reading till they hung up LOL

Told me they were collecting more than $1,200 for Verizon.  They sound very professional and very convincing.  I contacted Verizon, who said I owed them nothing.  I called back "Credit Collection" (as it appeared on my Caller ID) and recorded my conversation.  As I said, they were very professional and I can see how they could easily trick someone.

CID showed company as "Credit Coll."  I did not answer and no message was left.  Even if it is a legit bill, which is doubtful, I do not deal with third-party collectors as is my right under the FDCPA.  Should I receive any correspondence from them, they will be sent a Cease and Desist letter via certified mail (signature required).  I highly suggest anybody who gets calls from collectors, especially unscrupulous ones such as this one, that you familiarize yourselves with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and your rights as outlined by it.

This number has called our business every day for over a week.  Asking for a person who does not work at our store.  They have been repeatedly told, no such person here, take our number off your call list, and again, they continue to call daily and sometimes Twice a day.

This number was calling my house several times a day and finally left a message for someone who hasn't lived with us for almost 6 years. Amazingly enough, after I filled out the complaint form at http://clearcreditsolutionsllc.com/ notifying them that person could not be reached at my number and requesting they cease and desist all calls immediately, they seem to have stopped calling. For now. This isn't the first time a cellular service debt collector has called my house looking for the ex-, but most quickly stop calling when redirected.

The caller identified herself as Melissa Hilton stating she was a debt collector. Never identified who I was supposed to owe or on whose behalf she was supposed to be calling.

Left massage on answering machine saying they were calling to collect a debt and we needed to call immediately. Now what reputable company is going to leave that kind of message? We pay what we owe and do not want to be bothered by scammers!!!

They call our business multiple times a day, sometimes they speak, sometimes they don't.  It is a debt collector and they keep asking for someone who does not work here.  Today they called and their was no one on the other end so I hung up and called them back.  I spoke with a very polite women and I explained that they have been calling us constantly and asking for a person who is not at this number.  I explained we have only been at this location for a year and the number they have on file belongs to our company not the person they are trying to reach. She assured me that they won't be calling again....we shall see.

Credit Collections, LLC calls multiple times per week, up to once per hour, attempting to reach my ex with a robo-call voicemail stating the call is an attempt to collect a debt and should not be ignored. (Once in a while the machine gets confused and thinks a human has answered, then asks if I am my ex by name and to press 1 if I am.) It does no good to tell these morons he hasn't lived her in half a decade plus. They keep calling anyway. Reported to FTC.

As in Audra's post of 09/02/15, a Melissa Hilton repeatedly calls from Credit Collection Services purportedly attempting to collect a debt from a Christopher J. Clark. I never answer these calls directly, just let them go to record; but the name of that person is deleted if you listen to the message more than once.  As well, I've had my same land line phone number for over 18 years and also don't know the person they're supposedly calling.  So glad I did a lookup on their number and found this site.  You have confirmed my gut feeling that these people are scammers.  A call blocker for my phone may be in my future.

Have had frequent calls form this number 2 or three each day. Normally no one speaks when I answer. Ignored a number of the calls, but today I answered and they wanted to speak with my husband, but could speak with his spouse.
Verified telephone number, but would not tell me who the debt was from. Gave an address & asked if I had lived at that address, no, gave last 4 numbers of SSN, which was also wrong!
