Unknown caller, didn't answer

calls every day and no one there

Calls every day and when you answer it they hang up and when you call it back it says call may be recorded then it hangs ups

Same thing happened to me. Came up as an "unknown" caller. When I answered, no one was there.

Calls me on hour today 01/08/2014

3x today so far 11:02 est,11:48 est and 12:34 est...tried answering 1st time only heard breathing and hangup...Have them on my blocklist...let em call all they want...and of course no messages left...

Glad I'm not alone with this number! They called as an unknown number, I declined the call, they called back 2 minutes later and every half hour after that! So far 5 calls!

I heard of a scam where they call from a number like this and if you call back they hit you with an international charge of like 20 bucks and 12 for connection.  Idk if this is it or not but I won't call back

Has called 14 times in one hour so far today. Shows unknown caller. Just a garbled voicemail. If I answer, they hang up.

Keep calling after doing insurance quotes online.

Have called 3x so far - 7:48 AM (PST), 8:09 AM (PST), & 8:24 AM (PST). I did not answer any but my voicemail picked up the last one but it was just 3 seconds of background noise (that could've possibly been a call center).
Have also gotten 6 phone calls between 7 AM and 8:31 AM (PST) from 3 different 404 numbers that have also been reported as insurance scams. Besides health, I have made no insurance inquiries in over 6 months.

Consumer United - they have a zillion phone numbers both 800 and local area codes. If you call the number back, there is an option (9 I think) to remove your number from their database.

Apparently, when I did an online rate comparison this afternoon for auto insurance they immediately started calling. 13 times according to the call log on my phone...13 since 2:30 this afternoon (it's now 7:30). Ridiculous.

Called me three times before 10:30am, said they were 21st Century Auto Insurance claiming I was requesting quotes online.  I've never shopped insurance online and have had the same coverage for 20 years.  Make that four, they are calling again now....

Same just happened to me, unknown number, then a "local" number that when I answered put me on hold (I immediately hung up), and then this number which I did not answer either.

This number has called me twice in 30 mins today.  I did a request for insurance quote last night online. But it was ONLINE quote. I didn't ask for a call or I would have CALLED for a quote.  I did not answer and they don't leave messages. Blacklist......

Was looking for "The General" as advertised for an online ins quote. Web redirects to third party. Now they have my phone number so after 6 calls I blocked them. Jerks. They think that they are so clever. Duhh. Now E-Surance, Geico, and who ever can kiss my A**.
