NASCAR Membership Club claim I signed up for the membership at their website. Strange, I sure did not do this. Either someone gave my number by mistake or they got my number from somewhere else. I hope they stop because I already got 20 calls from their within the past 10 days.

I received a call from this # on my caller ID; it was a collection call for my ex .... when I indicated he didn't live here, they said sorry for the inconvenience.  When I called that number, of course, I got the NASCAR voice prompts.

Just received that call 03 Aug 07 11:25am asking for someone like Ascar I google the number and found this site. The caller had a southern voice female polite but I stated she had a wrong number and she apoligized and hung up. Go figure? Nice to see a site like this

I received several calls from the following numbers at the end of the week from 813-885-7057, 561-455-3020, 561-314-2956, 877-696-2722, I believe it is a scam going on finding the cell phone numbers and them marketing it to the others I all for a class action suit that can bankrupt these dumb as*es. I also informed of my intestion to press to into legal action I am hoping that maybe someone already has a suit out on it that others can join.

Just got a call from this number.  They asked for my husband.  When I said he is not available and said "Don't call back" the guy on the phone said "I will call back" and hung up.

I have gotten 5 missed calls from this number they call while I am at work and never leave a message.

I saw on my bank statment a charge for $84.00 and that it was for NASCAR club. There was a phone #877-696-2722 also so I called to ask what it was about but they kept hanging up on me. I'm planing to dispute the charge with my bank.

i got this call also. i called back. they said i expressed an interest in a NASCAR membership thru the NASCAR website or at the track (true, I signed up for the Sprint Million Dollars at the brickyard 400)and they wanted to sell me a NASCAR membership. All i said was no thanks and the problem is resolved

I got a call from these folks asking for personal financial information and how I would pay for some supposed buying club I "wanted" to join.

I told them they I was NOT interested, and that they had incorrect information. I also informed them that I was on the do-not-call list, but THEY informed me that that doesn't count because I supposedly signed up for the club on some internet site. I didn't sign up for anything on the internet, so this is an outright lie designed to circumvent the federal do-not-call laws.

I got a call from these people and I called them back.  They said they were the offical NASCAR Membership Club.  They said I had expressed an interest in thier club and that was why they were calling my cell phone.  The rep was nice and placed me on the companies do not call list.  Also I request to know who they thought it was that they were tring to contact since I have not signed up for anything.  She said that she didn't have that information b/c that was handled by thier telemarketers.  The associate with the NASCAR Membership Club that deals with the telemarketers is Sherrie @ 866-833-8321.

I have received four calls from this number in the last month.  I never answer and they never leave a message.  If it has anything to do with NASCAR I most definitely did not sign up for anything.  I have never and will never have any interest in Nascar.

i just got a call from them again today.  this time i picked up and actually talked to someone.  seems i filled out a survery about nascar the other day and they called me to tell me i can have a 30 day free trial of their magazine and a 25 dollar gas card.  i told them i wasnt interested and he asked me the reason y i wasnt so i told him i just wasnt interested and he asked me again the reason y...im told him even stronger that i just wasnt interested and hung up.  just hope they dont call again.

I received three calls from this number today, all of which I did not answer. They did not leave a message. I looked up the number, found this message board and went on to search for information about the NASCAR Members Club. I found an article on About.com about the club, and over twenty comments from angry people who were charged membership fees without having signed up for the club. I called the number back and talked to a representative, who said she would place me on their Do Not Call list. I informed her of the angry people who said they had been wrongly charged and she denied responsibility, saying they only charged people who signed up. I haven't yet received any more calls, but she said it would take three business days for the Do Not Call list to work.

Rec'd a call, I have no idea how my no. was obtained... I have zero interest in Nascar...

I get a call from that number and they do not leave a message, it was a number for that Nascar club because i called them back and informed them to not call again

I got a call from 1-877-696-2722 and my mother answered it. They were asking for me, and they told me that i signed up for some club and that i owe them $80. I said, i never signed up for that. They continued to call after i hung up. So i posed as a police officer once and answered...."Hello this is ______ from the ______ county police department, we have gotton reports of harrassment, may i ask who is calling?" LOL it worked.....they answered " I am sorry i have the wrong number" *click*

received call on my cell ph. Didn't reconize area code, didn't answer, but did check this number on internet, and that info came up from NASCAR Club.1-877-696-2722.  They did not leave a message   :)
 I know without a shadow of doubt I haven't signed up with them, also there has been news come out, that telemarketers will target cell phs, as well as landlines. Must be desperation that motivates these people, and $80.00 is $80.00 however obtained. Keep your money!.

I received four calls that I did not answer and they didn't leave a message. I remember posting somewhere that I was a NASCAR fan and even received a emailed newsletter from the NASCAR club.  I'm certainly not paying them $80. As far as I know they don't have my credit card info.  What a racket!

I have track pass with my internet service, I went to check it out and it didnt work, but right after that i started getting phone calls from this number
