says your message came from your health insurance carrier.....(blue cross)

This call is from my Medicare Provider,  Blue Cross

Do not want calls

Two of the posts indicate it is Blue Cross; however, my caller ID only shows "FREE CALL TOLL" and they never leave a message!

If these people are really Blue Cross then it would say so on caller ID & if they are Blue Cross or Medicare they would leave a message or should.  My caller ID says "FREE CALL TOLL" but when I have talked to Blue Cross it says so on the ID.  Either way I'm tired of calls like these.

Appears to be legitimate. Message left on voicemail usedmy name & told me to call my health insurance provider (Blue Cross/Shield) re a recent claim. Phone # (from my caller i.d.) produced a message reiterating that call was from my insurance provider & telling me to call the number on the back of my i.d. card.

Said my Blue Cross provider needed to speak in person to the application received. I asked what was the name of the agent who told them to call us since we had just enrolled with a local agent in person. He did not have that info. Therefore he failed the test, confirmed his scam so I hung up. First call ignored due to toll free on Sunday but second call peeked my interest to answer phone.

I was awakened twice this week (on recorder) with this toll free number  & said it was from my health care provider & to call the number for customer service on the back of my insurance card.   Did not say what my insurance name was and both calls were made before 9am.   I contacted my insurance & said they did not place calls.

Go same call hangs up you dial number back says call your health care carrier!

No message left. Recently, I enrolled At Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield. However no message left.
There are a lot of "scums" this time of the year.

I received a call from this number. The caller identified said she was from Anthem and needed to verify my information. When I asked her to tell me the information that she needed me to verify she said she was not allowed to do that. I asked her for a number so that I could return the call andshe said it was for out going calls only. I hung and called Anthem. The real Anthem said if there had been any reason to contact me it would be noted in the computer. There was no reason and it was not Anthem that called.

My Medicate Advantage carrier, Empire Blue Cross has been bugging me with calls offering a free "nurse" to come to my house to interview me and check my health for their records.  Told them I was NOT INTERESTED and blocked their calls on my home stationary phone.  Now I see they are trying to reach me on my cell phone.  Did not answer but whatever their intention is, it can't be good.
