Caller states I owe $9.99 for a call I did not make.  Has called at least 5 times.

It is the service jails use for inmates to make calls.  They cannot leave messages and @Chuck, they are not saying you owe for a call, that is a payment option if you choose to accept the calls.  They get 20 seconds for free and if you choose to allow more time, you will get the option to add money to the account for longer calls.  You do not have to give payment information if you do not want to and you are not charged unless you opt into the call - this requires a payment form and you only pay for a certain number of minutes - it is not just continuous charges.

Have no idea said to accept a free call to press 1.  Uh no idea who it was so didn't accept.

Keep leaving me a message saying charge $14.99 to your credit card???

we don't have caller id where i work, but this number was left in a message to call back about services. I think the automessage started playing when the machine picked up. All i got was the tall end with this number and a website www.securist-something

I called the number using my home phone and the recording said it is an inmate from a correctional facility. Must b a collect call. Do not answer it but how do I get them to stop. Have called me 3-5 times a day for the past 4 days.

I just called my phone company and am having the called blocked. The only thing is it will only b blocked for three months so hopefully in that time they get the hint.

Can't someone do anything about these calls?

I doubt that you can stop them from calling. (I got my first call from them this morning.)

The call came in on my cell phone. What I did with this number, and dozens of others, is to add it to my contact list with a name of "Do Not Answer", and then set the ring-tone to silence. Now, I won't accidentally answer the call.

Set up a 1-976 porn line and forward their calls to that number. You might make some $$$ off their calls

they call all day long even at night - last night they called 2x at midnight - I want them stopped

picked up and it said it was an inmate in Creek County Jail wanting me to accept a collect call, press 1 to accept. I do not know anyone there or in the area. Obvious scam
They make sure you cannot hear the so called inmate name is. they called very late at night

Received a call from this number yes it is for a jail inmate. I know someone who is in jail and I think it came from him.

Inmates can call after 11pm?
