These guys have been calling me over the last couple of days. Leave messages that they want to serve me a "summons" and that my file would be labelled "failure to serve" if I don't contact them immediately.

If they are a debt collector, they are completely out of compliance.

They also operate under this number 888-684-0401

I've been getting calls from this company, saying if I do no reply they will send someone to my work, or place of business to issue me a summons.  

What is worst is that they are contacting people close to me, such as my ex- girlfriend and my brother.  How are they getting their information??  

Does anybody have any information on them, and I want to pursue them legally if they are a debt collecting agency, because they are out of compliance.

What ended up happening?  Did they stop calling?  What is frustrating is that they are calling family members, and ex girlfriends.  completely out of line.  Did they do this to you too?

It looks like the fake loan scam.  There never was a real debt.  The caller can't get you arrested.  He's trying to scare you into paying a bill you don't owe.

Yes, its illegal.  But most of the calls come from outside the US, usually from 3rd world countries where scamming dumb Americans is not a crime and local police do not cooperate with US law enforcement.  They cannot be caught.

These people  Brian O'neal keep calling stating they are coming to my job and my home to service me with papers, I have reported them to the Fair Debt Collection Act and the Federal Trade due to the threats, everyone that gets a call from them should report them, it is against the law to use the verbage they are  using also calling from 866-644-4082

They called my in law. I don't know who they are or what they want. They asked for last four digits of as number but I did not give it. I hung up on the man. I also asked why they called. He stated have u been served no don't know why I would be served. Don't owe nothing.

Ignore 'em.   Total scam.

I just got a call from 702.421.0047, the man said he is trying to contact Amanda because she has some important papers she needs to be served with. I told them it was me and he gave me the number 877.712.7693 to call and find out what it is about. I asked what company was it and he said he does not have that information. Then I asked was there a ref. # and he gave me one. I have not called you, because the only thing I think I owe may be some hospital bills. This has me upset. So you all think it's a scam?

Is this for sure a scam..I got the same call today from these numbers and they also called my boyfriend...they are trying to get me to pay something I've never heard of before and the dates he's giving me I didn't live in the state he said. He had my social. I'm really worried that this is a scam they wanted a credit card number from me saying I didn't have to pay now but they needed a card on file.  

Some called my cell,asking for my girlfriend,said she will be served,This put her into a Panic Attack!,,,

Ignore 'em.  Total scam.  Don't give out any financial information and don't pay them anything.  Just hang up on 'em.

These people had my SS#...supposedly for an old T-Mobile bill..from..2002..Really..gave them no info and for them to mail correspondence to me..really freaky..

Some call me from a 702-421-0047 name william harris told me to call 1-877-712-7693 before i be summons for sum place called freedom communications i spoke to a david ross really i dont know who they are he suppose to work for sum place jjr.

I got a call this morning from a guy named Jack Phillips from the private processing division to schedule a process server to go to my home or place of employment to provide me with a summons.  The service is only going to make 2 attempts to serve me and if I don't get served then it will be classified as a faliure to be served.  To contact 877-712-7693.  The thing is that I don't know the person named.  Probably a lame attemp to collect a debt.  

They called my ex-husband,s cell phone stateing that there was a complaint against me,I called them back they said it was a sprint bill from 1994. Told them I never had sprint ,they wanted me to settle ,had my ss# ,I told them whjere to send it. Friday ,3 weeks later, they call my sons cell phone from a Forest City,N.C. # 828-919-6798,and ask him questions about me.,then right after they get off the phone with him they call me ex-mother-in-law,s house,and she made him mad enough to hang -up. Then I called them and they said that they were called JGR Judgements , but the number isn,t listed on the 877 directory,unless you want to pay out some change. They didn,t stay on the phone with me long either, I told them too bring it ,or I was going to the law.

Scam .....They broke several laws already.  Ignore them.  Even if you did owe money, you would receive something in writing.  There is a good chance these scammers are not in the USA.

They called my daughter's Maryland Cell phone...which isn't even in her name, so HOW did they get her number.  The number they called her from was 305-906-5872  They told her to have me call 877-786-7581 with a case reference #.  They told her that if i don't call, they will send the police to my house or work.  This caused her a panic attack.  I called to see what it was about..they have the last 4 of my SSN.  When I asked what it was about, they said a Sprint bill from 2005 in North Carolina.  When I told them I didn't live in NC at that time, he changed the date to April 2003.  I told his I didn't live there then either.  He tried to get me to give him my credit card number....which I refused.  I asked why they hadn't sent any mail to my house about this.  He told me my current address and said that if I didn't give him my credit card # they would contact the county I live in and a police or sheriff would present me with a summons to appear in court.
