Received a phone call from 877-714-6425 they stated they were Cigna HealthSpring and said there was a discrepancy with my Prescription medication.  They asked me for personal information and stated that due to Hippa rules they required it. I told them I will call the Cigna Healthspring number on the back of my card as I don't give that information out to someone who calls me.  When I called Cigna Healthspring, they had no issues with my medications indicated in their records. I believe someone is running a scam.

I have gotten the same calls as Harriet. This is a scam and do not give any information over the phone.

Hi :) I actually work with PharmMD and we clearly state this is PharmMD and Cigna HealthSpring. We are not trying to sell anything to patients, we are not a telemarketing company. We are partners with Cigna. We also state that we are calling on behalf of medication refills. We do require information verification due to HIPAA for patient privacy.

Here is verification. Also if you cal Cigna customer service they will verify who PharmMD is.

HIPAA is the acronym of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996.

Makes no difference.  You are calling people who have NOT solicited your service.  You are a profit making corporation and unless these people have asked you to call, you are a nuisance.
