My store Manager took a call from 877-714-9640 at 11:43am September 15. They asked for me (store owner) by name.  She did her job and asked who was calling, they identified as CPS when she asked what the call was regarding they refused to answer her and demanded to know who she was.  At that point she indicated that I was unable to take a call and that they could leave a message. They hung up on her.  Returning the call to the 877 number indicates that they are "Card Processing Services" and appear to be a Merchant Service vendor. Due to the incredibly generic name a google search shows nothing of value.  This one feels like an absolute scam.

Got a call from them today. Ask what I was about and they wanted to speak to the owner and ask for his name.
I was that OWNER and simple force what the call was regarding and I'll transfer you to the appropriate person.

They ask for the name of the person, insisted on what was the call regarding.  

I hung up on him without leaving any info and it is a SCAM

Got a call yesterday, Feb 21, 2012.

When I answered with a simple, "hello" - they hung up.

My guess is they are calling businesses and presumed this is not a business.

Called our office, no message left.

received a call and told them they were a scam and I was going to report them to the police...they said ok to do what I had to, they were a legal business

Got a call around 11H00 AM June 6 2012. They asked for the owner (me). Don't now who gave them my name. I said No thanks, I don't have time to bother with it. This company (CPS) seems to have a website but I won't start  to give personal info onver the phone to any stranger. Seems a SCAM, anyway I have added them to my blocked call list. We have something else to do than losing time with telemarketers.

Not a scam at all. they are a very good company. they offer processing services as the name implies and are an ISO for Chase and Elavon. i currently signed with them and the service was impecable.

Your oblivious a idiot or just a weak intellectual being who got drop at birth

I've had multiple calls from them for a while now and I won't pick up the phone when I see their number displayed.  They are a credit card processing company.  www.cardprocessingservices.ca  Their website says they are BBB accredited which when checked out at BBB, you will see that there is an alert on them.  Their BBB rating is an  "F".  The reason is that they have a history of violating the BBB name and logo policy.  They are obviously very untrustworthy and you'd have to be short of more than just a few brain cells to do business with a company like this.

They call since several MONTHS , I have a private number and it is on the DO NOT call list for telemarketers, but still call at least once a week, at any time of the day/night. I told them 3 times to remove my number from the list but looks like they are too stupid to do it. Today I asked to talk to a manager, they transferred me to someone who said he was, but his voice seemed young and stupid. Told him I asked multiple times to remove my PRIVATE number from the list and that I would call the police if they don't stop harrassing me.

This company keeps calling over and over again and yet we keep telling them we are not interested and to please stop calling. We just sent them an email asking to have this stopped and/or we will take 'unpleasant steps' to disrupt their business the way that they are disrupting our business.  

Yes there are legal ways to disrupt these companies.

This number called this morning and ask for my boss by his first name, well, not even asked, just said his name when I answered the phone.  I said, "pardon?", he again said my boss' first name.  I said (with sarcasm) "Would you like to speak to him?", and he said yes.  I asked "Can I tell him who's calling?" and all he said was "Charles" in a really gruff tone (so rude).  I thought it was one of our customers who was extremely important so I asked my boss if he wanted to talk to him.  He took the call and "Charles" was asking him all kinds of personal business questions, to which my boss readily put him in his place!!  Total scam, and not professional in the least!!

Just got a call from a very rude and extremely pushy man.  He said he was from CPS Elavon or something like that.  I kept asking him questions and he kept answering with very rude and pushy answers.  He wanted me to read from one of my POS records, I said no way then he hung up on me.  He was very scary.

Did some calls and found out they are just a telemarkating compagny of aroung 30 employes but everything seems completly legal they are iso for chase & Elavon

This is obviously from a sock puppet, working for the scammer.

Called here - if they are this rude before you're a customer, just imagine the kind of service you'd get if you were already a customer.

Just got a call from them again but just hung up on me like everything they call.  So rude!!!
