I received a call from this number this morning on my cell phone. I answered, and a lady who would not identify herself asked for a client of mine (I'm a photographer). I told her that I knew who she was asking for, but this was not his/her phone number nor did I know how to get in touch with him/her. The woman became more and more rude and began to all but threaten me if I did not give out my client's information to her. I continued to refuse, and ask the woman who she was and where she was calling from. FINALLY she told me she was with CCS, gave me this number, and reluctantly got off the phone. I called my client and told them about the odd phone call. Upon further investigation, it was discovered that this agency went online and looked up my client's name, found a link under my page, got my number and then called me in search of my client. VERY FISHY! Also, my client later told me that when they called to speak to someone, they were also treated rudely. My client tells me that this agency claims to have a debt in my client's name, yet would not give any information about it to my client. They couldn't even say where the debt originated from! As far as I'm concerned, don't trust a word spoken out of the mouths of anyone who calls from this number.

Same as above and they seemed to have all the contact information needed to contact my ex. I would not confimr or deny if there information was correct.

this number also called my house looking for my boyfriend. The woman said she was from boston, and was a friend of his family, but would not go into any greater detail. I knew that my boyfriend does not know any one there, so i just said i would pass along the message. I wanted to know who it was calling so i typed the number into google and found this page. does anyone know who this is calling and what it is that they want?

I received a voice mail from a "Melanie" no last name or company name provided.  No name on caller ID - just "Blocked Name" which made me IMMEDIATELY suspicious.  Never got a call marked that way before. Said my first AND last name.  That she would be in the office until 2PM and needed a call back before then (in a tone like,
This is NOT an option!).  I checked here.  Thanks for this service!!  She'll just be calling.  I have caller ID and rarely answer unless I KNOW WHO IT IS.

this company is the worst!!!!! they harrass people. Ms Newton in particular i wish her the best of luck i am going to report her to everyone i possibly can, she shouldnt have broken laws especially when i am well educated on the FDCPA.  I feel bad that they think being rude tyants is going to help them put money on a board so she can get a commission check...stupid

it wasnt even me that received the call it was my 90 year old grandfather who she disclosed details to and also said she would call them everyday to look for me about a student loan i am disputing and has been in dispute since it was with the original lender. i am in the same line of business she is.  I feel very bad for ms. newton i will not rest until she is fired or sued.

we got a message from Elizabeth at CCS phone# 8777200996 ext 7880 she didn't say much else except that they supposedly called but we don't have any messages from a company called CCS, you might want to call and find out what they are referring to

Very rude people! They keep calling about someone that I have never heard of. They have my number along with someone elses address. They have called nearly ten times.

Debt collection call from Credit Collection Services (CCS)

my daughter called me at work at 6:30am stating that a lady named Elizabeth at did not say co name phone# 8777200996 ext 7880 she didn't say much else except that if did we have an attorney because she supposedly called but we don't have any messages from her, that she had a problem with me and we.  my daughter was really afraid since she sounded rude and threatening.  called this number and belongs to a frankie?? go figure, god knows who she is. they need to stop harrassing people and scarring children!!!

Michelle Altongy called me at work from this number, 1-8777-720-0996 Ext. 7881.  She said she wanted to speak to Sharon and that Sharon gave her permission to call her at her work place. I told her that this company does not allow us to receive personal phone calls at work.  She stated that she found it odd that I couldn't since I had previously given her permission to do so.  I believe this person works for Credit Collection Services.

I got a call this morn today March 5th, 2010 and this women said her name was Norma....(SHE DID NOT SAY WHO OR WHERE - WHAT COMPANY SHE WAS CALLING FROM !!)) to call her back at ph#877-720-0996, at her ext # 7728 with reference to some file # @#$%^&...whatever that ment.

After loading up ph #877-720-0996......I found this web info....so wanted to include for the record, that I also got a call from this UNKNOWN company-person....and am very suspecious, especially when they-whoever....does not even say their company name or where-who they are !!

so I will not call anyone who blocks or hides their phone number.....assume it is a collection agency.....

Have been getting calls from 877-720-0996 that sound sort of like a debt collection agency but after reading other's story's about this source, I delete the messages.

Haha its a legit company if u don't pay your bill for whatever the bill gets turned to them and they are allowed to harrass u untill you pay up. If u don't pay your considered a theif for whatever u bought so why would someone treat you nicely after many many warnings givin before the claim is even brought to collections. Ccs isn't an enemy.. people who mooch and don't pay anyone back are.
