I have received 6 phone calls from this number over the last two hours.  Usually a recorded voice says "please wait for the next available agent" then the line goes dead.  This last time, someone asked for Lupe, and said they were calling from Reliant Energy.

Same as not lupe, except we have not had anyone pick up yet.  I think we have had 7 calls this eveing over about a 4 hour period.

Have been receiving several calls a day for about three weeks. I see someone posted it could be Reliant energy, I will nswer next time as it could be.  I have just finished my contract with them and they probably think I could switch to another supplier.  Will advise.

I just posted a few minutes ago, I went ahead and called 877-732-9989 back, it is Reliant Energy and they were offering me a better rate if I would sign with them for 12 months. He offered me 13.9 per kwh. I am going to check around then make a decision.

I received a call from this number and when I picked up, an automated message said,
"Please wait for the next available agent". I hung up and don't know who was initiating this call.
