AT&T Residential Repair

The announcement notified me that the changes to phone number ( then silence ) blah blah blah. For your reference use number ( silence ) and thank you for choosing AT&T......or something to that affect and then the message said that if I had any questions to call 1-877-737-2478.

I did not call back to a phone message that did not correcttly identify which of my phone numbers that was changed ( I have 4 ) or what the actual incident or trouble-ticket number was, so I had nothing to supply an actual AT&T rep if I did make that call.

Very odd....

Okay to get calls from this number. It is a confirmation call from AT&T Residential Repair Service.

I didn't answer 877-737-2478 or another call ending in 2470, that came in on my cell ph we recently changed from AT&T to Verizon. My wife got a letter asking us to call concerning the recent changes we had requested to our AT&T service. We didn't request anyhing ; we merely cancelled our cell services because they wouldn't block scam calls. We got tired of it. Now, they jacked our home service charges way up $69 mo and are calling wanting us to sign back up. No way to win!!!

Can you please repair this for me ,I believe my neighbour has reported this.I am not in Florida but am at 905-825-0988.

I don't and never had A.T.T. anything. This must be a new round of spoofing a business number to appear legit. When in fact it's fraudsters seeking to steal info. Be careful of who your giving info to.

877-737-2478 appears to be an AT&T legit "repair line service" number.  This number had called twice, no message left.  I don't have AT&T and I don't trust the number because it can also be a spoofing so, I blocked this number.

877-737-2478 called me 2 days in a row.  Left no message.  I use Ooma telo internet phone service, which beats my former landline provider Centurylink's service.  ATT has no reason to call me.  Spam, spoof, whatever.

The CID says ATT but no one is there and then you hear noise and a muffled "Mom" and more noise.  I do have AT&T services and that is why I answered the call.  I checked my bill and it says AT&T not ATT so I assume this is some kind of scam.....Have blocked the #

I got a call from some South East Asia male today telling me I had to tell him where I was at 😂. He said there was an issue with my email address and my computer was running slow. I told him I didn’t have any issues. He proceeded to tell me that I had to get in front of my computer now. 😂 dick wade.

Spoofing call from ATT

9/30/19 Monday @ 5:27 p.m.  Caller ID showed name of ATT (not A.T. & T.).  Caller left no message - I believe this is a SCAM CALL.  Received them before - from ATT.

10-01-19 Tues. @ 4:46 p.m.  ATT called - left no message - recording just said "Goodbye."  Suspect SCAM.

10/02/19 Wed. @ 5:09 p.m.  Call came in on Land Line from ATT - NOT  A. T. & T.  Thinking this is a SCAM call.  Party left no message - sounded like a call in a Boilerroom - others making phone calls.

Not the real ATT - left no message - SCAM.

Incoming SCAM call from ATT - not  A.T. & T.  Caller left no message @ 5:56 p.m. 10/19/19.

Answered call from this number. Caller said they were with AT&T security.( A lot of background noise.) I said AT&T didn’t give me any security and caller yelled, “Shut up! Listen to me. If you get too smart, we are going to block your services.” Middle-Eastern, Indian accent. I promptly hung up. Not just a scammer, a rude one.

SCAM call from ATT - not A.T.&T.  Woman w/ foreign accent said hello 3 x's on Recorder - we did not pick up.
