calls several times with no message left.   I called the number back and it is an Educational Referral company...   I started getting these calls after I posted a resume online.

This woman called saying something about educational referrals for my husband, and she was "checking up on his injury." I have no idea what she was talking about. The phone lost connection. Weird

they call and once they hung up and once I didn't hear anything, just silence on the other end. but yeah after I signed up on a job search site. must be something to do with online surveys and sign ups.

telemarketer who i told that i will run through their office setting small fires with my big lighter if they ever call me again....

same crap here, I asked the company name and lady just gave me redundant answers, i asked if its a privately owned company, she is like.. We are an educational referral service, im like, where at?, San francisco CA, i google it right away, found nothing, she asked... Do you wanna go back to college? such BS question.

just tell her to back the [***] off, it works.
i also applied for a few jobs yesterday.

Some BS telemarketing. I also started getting the calls after thinking I was setting up an account to apply at Dollar General.

Same as everyone else, this # called numerous times, even though I would answer, there would NEVER be someone on the other end.  I found out from this site that this is an educational information number from a jobsite I filed out, however, I was ABSOLUTELY SURE I clicked on that I DID NOT want to be contacted.  Geez.  I blocked the number.

Got a call from this number, saying they would like to help me find a college. I asked how they got my information and so forth. The Indian lady replied that I signed up somewhere for help looking for a college. When I asked what website that I had done this on, they could not give me an answer. I asked them do they have a website, and she said collegelocate.net when I googled this nothing came up. So I bitched at her some more and asked to speak to a manager, asked where they are located they said Chicago, and his name was James Brian, I called [***] and asked him where was he from - he replied that he was from Asia.

I posted my resume at Job.Com.   The phone started ringing in minutes.  Now I get at least two calls a day about educational opportunities, for which I did not express any interest.  The latest call came from 877-744-9063 early this morning on my cell phone.

Like the rest of you I am getting several calls a day. Earlier today took a call & actually spoke with someone who was inquiring about educational opportunities .. I never signed up asking for any such thing.  I am wondering if my data was obtained via a resume site I used that was online .. anyone else use one recently & then started getting these calls??  8:08 pm & just got another call from 877-744-9063 .. getting ticked now!!

They call like 50 billion times in a day I never answer but seriously this beginning to annoy the hell out of me because I don't know who this is or what it's for or why it's happening.
