This number called my 12 year old niece & told her that I was going to jail. Who does this kind of thing?

They called my father and told him I was being charged and got him upset. They are scamm debt collectors and do a lot of illegal things. Report them to the ftc.

Called me 8 times in an hour.  Told me had "charges" to serve on me unless I called within the hour.  Illegal collection practices.  Filing a complaint.

Got same call stateing had charges against me ask for proof said they had all the proof need lawyer told me to tell them to go ahead hed love to sue them for fraud

I actually got a call from 612-284-9361 and you cannot return calls to this number.  Then they gave my employer 888-885-3312 possibly Nationwide.  Couldn't call this number either.  Then the lady saying her name was LYNN O'BRIAN called again on 612-284-9361 and gave me another phone number 877-746-0170, which is also not taking calls.  

These people told my job I was going to get charged with something.  I assured HR that this was a scam.   When I talked to this LYNN again she said they were trying to serve me and they were at my house last night.  Which was a lie.  I was home all evening.  I told her she was lying.  And I told her I was at work right now and she can serve me any time.  I asked her what company she was from and she HUNG UP!  Can you believe this?   I am waiting patiently for them to arrive.  I have no problem accepting any sort of paperwork.  Just don't play around with my job.  I hope to sue them when I find out who they are for sure.

This company is using illegal methods to try to scare me.

I found out that it's not NATIONWIDE that is doing the harassing stuff.  It's their "locator service".  They hire a locator service to harass you so NATIONWIDE's hands can be clean.  They said it was the original debt holder that hires the locator service.  Then at the end of the call they stated that they will file a complaint and not use that locator service again.  What a load of crap.

When I talked to Nationwide their case manager was so nice and kissing my [***] after I told them I had a lawyer. I did go ahead and make payment arrangements because I can't risk them calling my job again.  

So either way I guess their tactics worked.  Looking into suing the locator service.
