Richard from Atlantic needs to serve me papers and wants me to call back with my address information so he can do so.  If I owe something, wouldn't they have my information?  Now they are calling my work.

I just got the same type of call except mine was from Mark Hudson.  Wanting me to confirm my address so they could serve me papers.  From my past exerpience Atlantic is not bogus company.

Ruth Peterson from Atlantic called me today saying I have a claim against me and I need to verify my address. Tried calling back and I get the same recorded operator Mr. Green on both call back numbers.

Keep calling say they are collecting for a pay day loan but can not give name of company.I do not think I owe them money and told them I need proof of the bill. The blow up my phone everyday with threath and tellinf me the are going to servr papers an have not shown up.I believe they said they were from globel

Ruth Peterson left a message asking me to call back to confirm my address so they (didn't say the name of the company) can serve papers as they have a 'claim'. I am certain that I do not owe anybody anything. Based on the other recent comments it is no doubt a scam. I wouldn't give these idiots a second of your time.

I called back to the number they called me from (909)4804660.  It said Atlantic upon answering.  A human named Jay Williams answered the line.  I asked him exactly what their company does.  He stated they are investigators and there is a claim against my husband.  I asked exactly where are you located and he laughed and said for security he could not give me the office location address.  He said we are trying to get your address to serve you papers. I stated if that's the case why wouldn't you just do like other normal person and use the white pages.  I told him if they ever called me again I would file a formal complaint against them.

This guy called me saying his name was Chris Roy and they needed to serve papers. Said something about a payday loan from cornerstone but cornerstone said they don't do this kind of thing. Anyway the guy Chris said if they don't hear back from me then he wishes me luck. To me that is a threat. The place he was calling for was called Atlantic. But the number he called from was different then what I had to call. I had to call 218 394 2822 so I'm not sure but I think this is a scam to get money and threatening me was not good. So I blocked the number

Most likely some sort of debt collections scam.  Legitimate process servers don't call you in advance and tell uoui they are coming by.  Ignore and block the calls.

ID themselves as Atlantic Consumer Support.

Same thing, said owed money, need address to deliver claim or would proceed with the claim and wished me luck if I do not return the call.

I received the same call, saying i owe money and they wanted my address to serve me papers.  when i asked who i owed all they said they needed my address to serve me papers.  they did not even have my correct social security number.  so they said they must have the wrong person and hung up.  definitely a scam.

Funny!  I just got a call from Mr. Roy today but today...he was working for Waterman...lol  Stupid scammer!
