has anyone heard anything about equity one federal funding

I found this website and wanted to share my experience with an advanced fee loan scammer.  

Earlier this year there was a very legitimate-looking website, Vision Loan Referrals, on the web.  I was looking for a loan and entered my contact information.  A day later I was contacted by a Terry Winters of Goldwyn Financial, a company supposedly in Massachusetts, from their contact information, from an 800 number.

To make a long story short, I fell for the advanced loan fee scam, which was explained to me by Ms. Winters as paying to insure the loan given to a person with poor credit, which would earn interest.  The 'insure the loan' story was all part of this clever scam, and I lost 750.00 which I wired to these scammers to a Canadian number.  I would not have gone through with this if I had seen negative stuff or warnings by others on the web about Goldywyn Financial and Vision Loan Referrals.  Now I realize that these were new websites at the time (January 2010) that had just been set up by this scam group, so there were no complaints - yet - relating to these websites.  And I also realized that these were sham websites.  I now see that these websites have been removed by the scammers.  I reported what happened to me to the FTC at their website, and also to a Canadian website.  It now looks like other people have been scammed by the same scam group that operated behind the Vision Loan Referrals and the Goldwyn Financial websites, and one couple reported it to the RipOff Report website.

Do not deal with these people, make them send you a bill with the breakdown of what you owe first. Troy Green is a liar and worthless.  I am waiting on them to mail out updated billing info. ou can try calling them at these numbers too.  I say call them as much as they cakk you until you get the information you asked for. Do not make arranmens with them or give them any debit or banking info...they will debt your account, but not in accordance with dates you authorize, which in breach of the law.  be sure to read up on the http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre27.pdf fair credit collections act....they skirt the edges and get away aith it if you are not informed, or report there behavior.  be sure to post all address and phone numbes for them and keep records of conversations.  619-365-4150 is a valid number for them too..310-499-0486 troy green..831-250-6126 karen redmon..

Legitiment loan agencies are licensed through the state they are operating in.  They will not ask for money upfront through Western Union, Greendot or Moneygram.  Any business that asks for these methods of payment are definetly a scam. DO NOT SEND THEM THE MONEY UPFRONT!!

I found them on Google search and applied for loan.  They asked for my bank info, pancard and ID proof.  Prior to this they confirmed to me grant of Rs.10,00,000/- loan.  However, now they are asking for a registration fee of Rs.20,000/- in advance.  I asked them for their address and contact numbers but they are silent on this and till date they have not revealed information about them. They have been communicating with me from this ID stmartinsloanservice@gmail.com.  every time they send a fresh email, rather than replying to my mail.  I have asked them to deduct the registration amount from my loan.  They seem to be fraud.

They are definitely trying to scam you: this is a well known SCAM. DO NOT give them any money. You should not have to pay up front for a loan from a legitimate creditor. Don't be fooled.
