they left msg. with this phone no. with an acct no., and want me to call them back. i called back gave my name only, i said what do u want. once they confirmed my name they also told me DOB which they wanted me to confirm. If i wasnt they didnt want to talk to me - which was fine, but, it got my attention an was bothering me so i said, yeah ok that's me. it was about a traffic ticket from 2004, which was the first time i heard about. i have never rec'd anything in mail from that province about a ticket and considering i renewed my license two years ago, so why hadnt it showed up then. i didnt get into any details on phone only told them it wasnt mine you got wrong person. that's when i ended the call. i assume i will get another call from them, considering i confirmed my name. i did google NCO and Sault St. Marie and found out it was collection agency who got contract to collect debts for province for traffic fines. i will be pulling a credit bureau asap. to see if its legite, to take next steps to resolve. another thing i did learned is demand on "Debt Validation" letter from any collection agency demanding money.

These people will hound your number forever IF  you pick up your phone and are on it for longer than 3 seconds,
or if it is answerd by a message machine. I found that when these strange numbers call, pick up your phone then hang up right away. That way the "calling bot..?" may after a few times trying cancel out your phone number as out of service. If it was an actual human calling to reach YOU I'm sure they'll phone right back, where's a "calling bot" will not. When all fails, pay your phone service provider $5 or whatever to get Call Blocking, I have it & it's the cats meow ! I just blocked this numer today & will never have another annoying call from it again   .
