got a call from 877-760-8416 this is not the first time but if you call it back it sounds like a person answering the phone from their own home all they say is hello no name of company given, because of this I hung up

automated system left message. half of it was cut off- just left the number and said they were attempting to collect a debt.

Yeah this number calls my cell phone. Its a collection agency I was put in mistakenly after a mixup with an ambulance bill.

isn't caller ID wonderful!  this is a collection agency that claims it will take me to court if i don't return there call!!  SO SUE ME!  i have no debts so i know its not for me.

Received a call today but they did not leave a message.

Some chick must have given a bogus number (i.e. my cell) to her check advance loan companies. About a week ago I started getting these calls for a girl who owed a about 4 different check advance stores. they all started calling in the same week.

Then (877) 760-8416 started calling as well. They never leave a message and when I answer they ask for the girl. I've told them several times I don't know her and to take my number off of their call list.

If you are going to call, leave a message and details. Do not hang up. That way, I will never respond...................

I called them.
They are a collection agency trying to collect on a medical bill of mine.
They did say their name althought I can not quite remember it completely, it has "America" in it.
I know I have an unpaid med bill. I have lots of them. From talking to them they seemed reasonable and willing to negotiate with me as well as not phone call everyday. I proceeded to let them know I have other medical bills ahead of them and am paying them off in an orderly fashon. Theirs was in the pile and would be paid off at some time but not at this time.

I informed her that in order to stop the phone calls I would be sending a letter stating that I only wanted to be contacted in writing herwidth.

P.S. At the beginning of the call, I informed them that I was recording this conversation.

I Recieved a call today from 1-877-760-8416 asking for my mother...I told the woman that she was not home at the instant and she asked if she could leave her number and for her to call her back....of course i accepted.....She said her name was "Diana Jackson".....I asked if I could take a message and she said "that's okay" which was a little suspicious to me....but if anyone can help identify the # i would greatly appreciate it.

Called this number and after a few rings it said..."Hello this is not a sales solicitation(recording) which was interupted by a Woman who said"Hello how may I help you?" after this i hung up .....still they gave no name of company etc.etc.

yes, I have to received a call from this 1-877-760-8416, they left a message on my cell, I called back and they took me off their list, at least I think they did, they where very polite.  Asking or someone else, and it is a collection agency.

who are these people??? 877-760-8416, i don't respond to" no names" on
phone. if anyone knows these idiots let me know.

This is Payment America medical collections out of Nashville Tennessee.
They buy medical debts for pennies on the dollar and then try to collect by
harassing you until you get tired of them repeatedly calling you all day long.
I suggest each time they call you dial *57 after they hang up.
