    yes, I've gotten calls--3 in the past hour--from this number. No message, or anything. My girlfriend warned me not to call back. It's probably good advice. I think I'll call them from a pay phone...I'm just too curious!!

    I got calls from this number every morning last week around 11.  No answer when I picked up. CPMC is supposed to be a legit non-profit--this just doesn't seem like something they'd do.  Thanks for the info!

    This is in fact the number for California Pacific Medical Center patient financial services.  Weird though that it dials my number and there is no one on the other end.

    This number keeps calling me but never leaves a message.  If it's CPMC, they've called me before and have always left a message so it's weird... don't feel like answering at work if I don't know what it's about, and that's where I always am when they call.  If they would leave me a message I would call back...

    CPMC does this (I was told this by one of their reps) if a patient has an unpaid balance- occasional hang-up calls; I assume the purpose is to annoy- it worked well for me.

    so i recently changed my number and have been receiving calls from this 877 number. they were looking for a celia who probably had this number before me. there is indeed somebody on the other end of the line. it's weird, i usually would ignore the call because i have no idea eho's number it is. i picked up and yes no one is on the other end. i had an instinct just to stay on the line and wait till i hear something or someone say something. the phone didnt hang up itself so i figure the other end is still on the line. 30- 40 seconds in. asomeone speaks, asking for a celia. told them wrong person. they ask if i knew the person because they were calling from the ca hospital. i just said no i just have this new number. its just weird how they dont speak untill almost a minute in the call.
