Brian Lawrence will leave you messages trying to sound like he's a law enforcement officer by using words like "this is a very serious urgent call" and "call me back about case number" blah blah blah...loser collection agency with the wrong number.

You got that right. Some dirtbag from this firm just called me. If you talk to him, record the conversation like they do. They told a lot of lies on that one phone call I wish I had.

The caller id said 500-000-0000 but the callback number is 877-770-6335

Brian Huler will call any random person with the same last name.  I told him that I did not know the guy they were looking for and he was very unprofessional on the phone.  I asked for his supervisor and he told me that he was not going to debate the situation.  I told him that I was a part of a do not call registry.  He said so we are not telemarketers and do not abide by those laws.  Who would ever do business with these guys who act like that?

Cheryl Ariola called me from Creditors Interchange, telling me this was the last message I would get, that she 'has no choice but to 'sign off on this claim as authorized by **** County(where I live), that if I was involved with a debt collection agency, I had no protection, and that I was in default of a contractual aggreement.  The OCC is investigating the account she was speaking of--so she was full of hot air.
She also had the nerve to call me at work, later reminding me that she knows where I work!

Brian Lawrence called me at work twice today and didn't really say where he was calling from but made it sound like they were going to take serious action against me and it was going to cost me thousands of dollars if I didn't make a settlement in the next day.

What ever happened?  Did they sue you and tax your wages for the amount they said you owed?

They told me all of the same things stated above. I really thought I was being sued. I was scared that this was my last chance to do something before I was going to court. Then I found out that they are just another collections agency and they are nasty.

these people dont let up and use a "authoritative" tone and try to make themselves sound like there somebody important..theres also another # in which they call from 1877-770-6335 (same company Creditors Interchange)...there was a woman whos name i forget (something like Elizabeth) called several times in the beginning of the month and than sum nit-wit named "Ron Screwzinsky" ext 3551 who i actually spoke to and spoke 100mph.when i told him that i was working with a company to settle the debt he shot that down and stated that they only deal with a "select" few companies and that all those companies are frauds and that if i didnt agree with the "settlement at hand" that no more courtesy would be extended and that he will be "rendering a business decision to secure this investment and to tend to my affairs" and i MUST choose by 1pm eastern..and than it changed to 5pm eastern and than guess what??? they called again days later..HAHAHA...who the hell is he to make a "business decsion on anything???if i could just meet this guy for 5min in person..nevermind......
dont they realize how dumb it is to make such threats and how stupid they look when they insist on calling over and over again after there "final warnings"??? idiots..
Also when i told him that id like to see it in writing (who the hell in there right mind would just fork over money on something without anything written down) he said "theres no time.it MUST be done TODAY" and to use another credit card to pay them,etc....i should have just hung up on him but it started becoming interesting to hear him squirm.real aggressive people over there...
now theres some real [***] of a woman calling named "Lisa Farrow"ext 3334 and she likes the word "URGENCY"...im actually looking foward to the next message they leave.

These fools call me too and the funny thing is, I owe no money to anyone. I have near perfect credit and haven't missed a payment on anything in many, many years.

They've most likely purchased some really old, outdated, paid-out debt from my youth for pennies on the dollar and, while grasping at straws, hope to scam me into dealing with them.

I just delete the messages from these idiots. I am a professional collector and if I ever did talk to one of these fools, I would eat 'em for lunch.

Brian Lawrence who works for Chase Bank called me. I told him straight up I wasn't happy about my credit rating plummett. I had 100.00 to my name, no job and didn't own anything. He said Chase is charging this $4600 debt off as a loss, but they would accept 2995 and call it even -and that they were going to obtain a judgement against me. They would put liens on things I own or garnish future wages.
The wage garnish thing happened to me once before more than 15 yrs. ago. I just worked so little that they couldn't take any money if you don't make much (I used to make my own sched. and cooled it for a couple of wks.)and the judgements only last for a couple of weeks at a time, so I was warned through the mail when the garnish would start, then I'd just not sched. myself to work more than a couple of days a week for a few weeks. I see lots of complaints here- what has actually been done to some of you folks and do you have any suggestions on how to handle this? They can't get blood from a stone!

THey called my  grandma again and change there name to Cloverfield bank. THey said that they where 12,000 in dept and they need to pay them or they where going to sue my grandpa. My grandfather had never heard of Cloverfield bank niether have I. I ended up talking to them myself and said so what do u want from us? He asks well we would need to have ur grandfathers debit card #'s and social. Im like you really really need it? He got all excited and said ya we really need it to ya know take care of the debit ur grandpa has in our bank.

I just told them well you aint getting nothing from us we are not that stupied. And he said well you have to or I will keep calling for it sooner or later ur grandparents will listen. Im like nope cause they wont be on this phone no more.

I changed the phone number for my grandparents and they can only recieve phonecalls and voicemails from people on the phone list that I made for them. Seniors sometimes dont know these scamming people and I rather protect them and the little money that have left just for themselves.
