Who sent this text and why?

I received a text from this number too.  I don't know what they're about.

I received a text this morning from this number too. It said something about a resume I submitted to them?

I just got the same text from these people. Why did I get it? Who is it?

Did you actually call them back? My text didn't say anything about a resume or anything like that.

My text didn't say anyting about my resume eitehr. I have been looking for a job, but I'd like to be certain before I call it back.

This number is a part of Applicant Services, a new service that matches up job seekers with employment opportunities. We receive resumes of people seeking employment from all over the country. When you call in, we ask you for some basic information -- never your social security number or anything similar -- and match you up with jobs that meet your criteria for employment. We do this as an absolutely free service to job seekers. There will never be any charge, and we will never ask you for any sensitive or billing information.

I called back and it's just like you said. It was just a few questions to make sure I still lived where I live and that I'm still interested in the position. I know you said no guarantees, but it's nice to get a call back.

This is exactly what happened when I called them.

they want your info. DO NOT CALL. Somewhere along your job search you filled out contact information for one website that was a fake. From there they got your info hoping you would not doubt them and they contact you as a different company. DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER

This is one number for Jobnab.com, which is somehow affiliated with Career Network, Inc. I received an email from Jobnab stating they had seen ny resume, which they probably got from Monster.com, and wanted me to call back or go to their website and fill out an application because they worked with companies in my area who were looking for someone with my skills, experience, etc.  An hour ealier, I had received an email from Career Networks with a similar message. I did a web search on Career Networks and found several pages of complaints about bogus jobs and various scams. So, no, don't be calling this number.
