Got a call saying there was a fraud case pending in LA county against me.....I've never even been to the westcoast and I monitor my credit closely and no one has stolen my identity to that point at least. Seems like a phishing scam. I'd be interested to here what they told anyone else.....

My boyfriend got a call from them today wanting $700 for a bank loan that he supposedly took out.  They told him they would arrest him if he did not pay...

Payday loan scam. Go to ftc.gov and read the FDCPA and learn your rights.

Just got a call saying they gonna serve my son for two worthless checks...They gonna serve him at work...they couldn't tell me where he work..I knew off the top it was a scam..who call someone to tell them they are gonna be arrested....who does that?

I have been called several times by these people What can I do about it. They also called my daughter. They seem to be using th business Advance America.They said the police were comeing   to get.me Thank you.

called my ex-husband's 1st wife stating she was my sister and I was wanted for bad checks. HA! What a scam
