My cousin just got a call on his phone asking me to call them right away if I didn't call the police would come to my place of resident or employment to arrest me for a bad check against a company that I don't know. When I ask the guy want is he talking about. He said you know what I am talking about. H said you have 2 options before the police comes to my home address or work of employment. They pulled a company I haven't worked for since 2007. He said I owe this person about 5k. I ask who was the client, he said you know who it is. I ask him for my ssn he gave me the first 5 numbers correct but the last 4 was in correct. He said I have your address and your PO box number, I said yes you can pull that up on my credit report. He hung up and said the police will be picking you today at your home address if they can't find you they would put a warrant out for you.

I just got the same call but the person on the other side got somewhat scareed after I was asking tons of questions. I called the number and left a message. If they cannot provide proof, then we do not owe anything.

I just received the same call stating that I will be notified at my place of employment.  I am not sure who this Marshall McCoy is but I will be contacting the police department to verify.
