- Deb| 1 replyMy brother received a call looking for me saying that I am being sued by an O'Ryan law firm that they are suing me and I have a court date.
When I called I got one man who transferred me to a Chris Mann who said that I was in trouble and I better take care of what I owed. I told him I owed nothing. He would not answer any questions and kept saying I was slow and did not understand. he said I best get a lawyer. I hung up on him.- Caller: reliant Regional Services
- Call type: Debt collector
- CWG40This "Chris Mann" persona also calls from something called Regency National Service, BG&M, and ICS Courier,US Document Investigation Services and Gawd knows how many phony CIDs. Same old threats. These people are serious debt scammers. Ignore and block their calls.
Here's some more information:

- CWG40 replies to DebTotal scam. If you were the subject of a pending lawsuit, you'd have received a letter from the attorney for the other side. There'd be a paper trail. You would not first find out about it from some scammery-scummery debt collector who cold-calls you and starts demanding money.
They are a California -based debt collection group.
Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:
1. Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2. Demand a debt validation letter by US mail. E-mail no good.
3. Do not pay the collection agent or anyone else a DIME until the debt is validated.
Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply block their calls and ignore them.
If they are bothering you,
Report them:
http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0149-debt-collection
Also contact your local attorney general
If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money, tell them that you know this is a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion. You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her. Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved. Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them at whatever address the jack***es are working out of now. - LB| 1 replyA Lisa Taylor called my brother with this voicemail:
This is Lisa Taylor calling with NvS courier services we were retained this yesterday morning with instructions to deliver sealed documents out to this property address reference to a complaint that is been filed an issue directly for LB, our license server will be dispatched back out to your property and current employer within the next 24 hours for delivery at these orders out is is our second attempt for delivery However after the third failed attempt for servicing we are forced to classify any and all documentation under a failed action for delivery or possible evasion delivery directly again, you are required to contact the issuing firm and schedule a time for delivery by reaching directly to 844. 894-9445 and referencing file id
Then the scum bags called my work (I'm a Dr) and asked my office manager what our policy was for serving subpoenas. I finally called the "court courier" Lisa Taylor who told me I better call that 844 # and see what I could do to take care of the problem or she would file a report w the court. When I asked her what county court she worked for and what court she was filing with she said it was s National courier service and couldnt tell me what county. - Alfalfa replies to LB'Sealed documents", my foot. If this were a legitimate process server (and you know it isn't), they would show up unannounced (I know this from personal experience),
An actual Process Server is not going to have any conversation with you about any debt you owe, nor will they demand payment from you. If something like this happens, immediately call local law enforcement and make a full report including as much descriptive information as you can give them of the person impersonating a court officer.
