- tessa| 22 repliesI got a call from this number. I sent an email to this person regarding a job, and they sent a link requesting that I provide further information. As soon as I filled out the information, I received a phone call from the above number. Of course they didn't leave a message. The contact person and email address I was given is: Helen.Davenport@gmail.com. This is definitely a marketing scam!
- TessaI just posted a message regarding this number. Correction on the email. Helen.Davenport.Biosource@gmail.com. This is the link with the questions about continuing education:
http://employmentforever.com. - Anonym| 1 replyReturned the call from the caller ID posted(no voice message left)and told the woman that I am a high school graduate and do not wish to further my education(no funds) - PLEASE! - She told me that I had posted information online from the day before and I told her that I did not as well - ENOUGH ALL READY!
- Julie replies to tessaThanks for your post. I answered an ad on Craiglist yesterday; the contact has a gmail address also. She sent me a link to something called DirectSource.com, to which I uploaded my resume. I looked at other job listings on that site first to see if it was legit, and I saw listings from a local university. But today, I got a phone call from this 800 number, and now I'm concerned it's a scam...
- StacyThis guy called and told me I was qualified for some grants, scholarships, etc. I am currently going to school but I have not applied for any of this. I asked him how he got my information and he said I had applied for information. I have not. Then he asked me if I was going to school and said he had some great financial sources he could share with me. I told him I fine and hung up. It seemed like a scam.
- Joe| 7 repliesApplied for some Data Entry Clerk position through what looked like some kind of staffing website. Immediately upon submitting my application, received an automated phone call about some furthering education crap that had a callback number.
- HHHHYes, I answered a Craig's List ad for a JOB and got a call about furthering my education as well.
- Caller: Academic Advising Center
- Call type: Telemarketer
- jobseekerI answered an ad on Craigslist for a job in a local school office. After submitting my resume to the email address requested, I got a short form to fill our to "complete the application process"--seemed harmless, but then in order to submit that, I had to say whether or not I was interested in furthering my education. I said yes. Now this number is calling me (1-877-789-9861)

I rec'd the same call. I have a Master's Degree and would never ask for information to continue my education as I cannot find a job as it is. I don't appreciate this company sharing my phone number. - Caller: Unknown
- SteelenI also followed a link that I received as a reply from a (supposed??) job on craigslist. I think we can all deduce this is just ANOTHER SCAM!!
Didn't answer, you'd think by now "they" would realize most people know a scam/sales/debt-collector by the prefix. Ohh well, as long we keep each other informed, we have the advantage. Like GI Joe said "Knowing is half the battle" Peace
