Received a call from this number. Caller ID says: 800 service. After two rings, caller hangs up.
Upon calling this number, I receive an automatic message saying:
"Sorry you have a reach a number that has been disconnected."

Disconntected? It just called ME!
Weird...

They call my house all the time and I have repeatedly told them that they have the wrong #. I have had this same # for 15 years. They say they are sorry and will remove my # from their list but they just call back from another #.   GOOD LUCK!!!!

Receive calls daily from this number. Never anybody on the line. When I call it back it is not in service .  How do we stop thesse ?

I get a call from this number every day and no one says anything. I'm sick of it.When I see the number I don't answer.

This number 877-795-2279 has been calling my number for weeks or months now and I keep reporting it to you people and nothing is done about it.  What seems to be the problem?  I don't know who it is that I am reporting this to but if you have any kind of authority something should be done about it.  Why these [***] should be allowed to get away with this is unfathomable.  At the very least they should find their f-----g [***] in jail.  Unless, of course,  the one I am reporting this to is part of the problem.

receive calls everyday sometimes 5 times a day nobody leaves a message on answering machine and it shows up on our caller ID they don't say a word just call nonstop everyday daytime evening doesn't matter??? can't figure out what # this is coming from.

This number calls our house several times a day.  I have tried to call it back but only get a busy signal.

It IS the Florida Police Benevolent Association. They are looking for donations.

Just received yet another call from 1-877-795-2279...I get these calls daily, sometimes twice a day....saying they are from The Police Benevolent Assoc., or Florida Highway Patrol, or Grant a Wish, or Kids' Wish, Florida Firefighters.....the list just goes on and on.  Anyway, I finally complained to the Florida Department of Agriculture, 1-800-435-7352.  They in turn gave me two number to call also...Federal Communications Commission 1-888-225-5322 and the Federal Trade Commission 1-202-225-5322.  Maybe if we all report these people we will actually get rid of the unwanted calls.

this call center uses the number 877-795-2270. also calls with masked caller ID showing no number and UNKNOWN or UNAVAILABLE. usually shows as CONNECTING or UTILITIES on caller ID and uses many phone numbers masked with a 904 area code, and a 265 or 861 prefix. this solicitor has been told many times in the past to stop calling / remove us from their list, but continues to call several times per month, sometimes multiple times a day, and a week at a time. this aggressive solicitor has used profanity when no verbal response was given. usually claims to work with fraternal order of police or fireman's fund. report them to:

caller hangs up when phone is answered.  This is an ongoing annoyance for too long.  When *69 is used to check the number calling, 1-877-795-2279 is given by an opertor, when this number is called back, an recording says "this number is out of service."  LET'S GET THIS ANNOYING AND ABUSING USE OF THE PHONE SYSTEM STOPPED.

I get a call from this number every day. It is obviously a charitable solicitation and therefore exempt from the "Do Not Call" list. I believe it is from the FHP Benevolent Association, which is a worthy cause, but it is terribly annoying and should be stopped.

Call Florida PBA in Tallahassee at 1-800-733-3722 and complain. They will call the telemarketer to take your name off call list.

called and said they were the hwy patrol and wanted money.  I told him I didn't have any and they continued to talk and talked. I have asked them before to quit calling and they never take me off the list.  Grrr
This is totally unfair to have people call my house when I am sick and need my rest. I shouldn't have to unplug my phone or listen to it ring and ring.

They call several times a day and most times hang up before I can answer. I have a handicap and want them to stop bothering me. I've told them to remove my number from their list, to no avail. I will never donate to them. I donate to my local Police Dept.
