The rep said her name was April and they are calling for someone who does not live here. I asked who she was working for and she got an attitude so I asked for her boss. Her manager's name is Jean. I've asked to be removed from their call list many times but they continue to waste my time. They won't say who they work for.

I never answered the call because I dont know who it is..now that I know its a bogus number I will continue not to answer. thanks so much.

its a collection agency not telemarketing.. either you owe a bill or someone who was once associated with your number did.  And NO they cannot say they are bill collectors so dont bother asking, else risk more wasting of both your and their time.. just tell them its a wrong number and you dont know that person.

they sent me a bill that I didn't own. what should I do?

I just got a call from this number from a woman who called her self Katina. She asked for my dad as if she knew him, but since it was an 800 number i asked if it was a business call. She said yes, so i asked her to take us off their call list. she said she couldn't do that and when i asked what business it was, she was rude when replying that she couldn't give me that information without his permission. Well, he was here, but i told her he wasn't. she asked for a number where he could be reached, but i told her there was none. She was  rude, with short answers, and asked for a better time to reach him. i told her i dindn't know. she gave me this number to have him call back:877-796-2497. we don't plan to call back.

This is a bill collector from a company named Pinnacle Financial.  They are bottom feeder collection agency that collects on zombie debts.

They call at all hours and last night it was after 8:00 p.m.  They woke me up - I get up at 4:30 a.m.  It has been going on for months.

Message on our machine: "This is a courtesy care notice. The vehicle you are driving will soon meet the deadline to extend the warrenty coverage that protects you from costly repair bills . . . "

We bought our car used about 4 years ago. There is no warrenty on it so far as I know. Definitely a scam.

I never answer the number because it they call me everyday.

When they call I say "hold on" and set the phone down. I have told them they have the wrong number but they just keep calling. so i figure, if you are going to waste my time I will waste yours!

Have had two calls from this number. Just got a new phone/# and it is obviously for someone who had the # before. I tried to call this # back and the 'agents' are always busy.

Recording sounds like an attractive female. "This is Jill, please call me at 877-796-2497." Does not indicate what the call is regarding, or who it is meant for. Calling reveals it is Pinnacle Financial Group. Call came at 8:20 pm as I was putting my 2 1/2 year old and 3 month old to bed.

this number kept calling my cell phone (new number about two months ago). I finally answered today to tell them to stop calling. No one there. I did a reverse look up. It was this pinnicale financial group. I called them to get them to take my number off. A guy named paul answered. (btw you cant contact them through their website). He was very rude and mean. I told him to take my number off, and said he wouldnt because they were a debt collection agency. I said you better cuz you got the wrong number. When he figured out it was wrong number he rudely asked for thanks, and when I wouldnt give it to him he said fine, i wont take it off and we'll keep calling you all the time. THREATS! He then hung up on me. I called back and spoke to a girl. She was just a rude! I got her to take the number off, and tried to explain the guy was rude, she said "whatever" and hung up on me too!

They are REQUIRED by law to tell you - whether your ask or not.

If this truly is Pinnacle, then you likely owe money for an outstanding bill.  According to the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, you can send them notice to cease contacting you via USPS Certified Mail Return Receipt and if they continue to ignore this request then file complaints:

§ 805.  Communication in connection with debt collection   [15 USC 1692c]

(c) CEASING COMMUNICATION.  If a consumer notifies a debt collector in writing that the consumer refuses to pay a debt or that the consumer wishes the debt collector to cease further communication with the consumer, the debt collector shall not communicate further with the consumer with respect to such debt, except --

   (1) to advise the consumer that the debt collector's further efforts are being terminated;

   (2) to notify the consumer that the debt collector or creditor may invoke specified remedies which are ordinarily invoked by such debt collector or creditor; or

   (3) where applicable, to notify the consumer that the debt collector or creditor intends to invoke a specified remedy.

If such notice from the consumer is made by mail, notification shall be complete upon receipt.

Ok... I have been getting calls from this # day and night. However, when I answer the phone there is only a recording and it says "please hold for the next available representative...if you do not want to hold press one." These calls are driving me nuts. Yesterday I called the number back and a man answered and said that I had called the Pickaway Correctional Facility. What a bunch of bs.

I get calls constantly to a BRAND NEW CELL #!  It started once I changed my number.  great.   and why when you answer do they not say anything???? idiots!
