I received an auto call, asking for my first name, plus company name, and asking me to call a certain number.  When I called the number it was another auto menu loop that keeps you on hold.  Very suspicious.

I keep receiving calls from this #... Does anyone know what this place actually is? I've called back but they won't tell me what their operation of business is unless I tell them who I am first. Also, they won't ever leave a message.

This is the second time we've been called by this number.  Dont' know who they are and we have all our numbers logged in America's no call list.

Took the almost 10 seconds to speak.Called looking for someone in management or accounting.
Woluld not say who they are.

Just got a new cell phone & number and keep getting calls from a seemingly endless stream of bill collectors looking for the last owner of this number. I no longer answer their calls and just use the "blocking" feature. This number is just one I just added to a growing list.

The auto-looping of the message even when you type in the number that you are not the person they are seeking is EXTREMELY annoying

I also keep getting calls from this number, I never picked up because I don't answer unknown numbers. When I call back they don't state who they are. I'm on the "Do Not Call List" I don't understand...

I get phone calls from this number 3 or 4 times a day...I don't know who they are, but I wish that they would stop harrassing me and my family..

wow... just looked up this number and i see that someone else was pissed as well almost an hour ago. its probably a debt collector, i mean... you can put your number on a dont call list, but if you still owe money to folks that doesnt mean a damn thing. do not call lists are for solicitors (people trying to sell you [***] and get your money) debt collectors however are trying to get money you already owe... i work at a college referral company and we have to call people a lot, and sometimes a couple bright americans scream about a do not call list, which again, us being a FREE college referral service, means we get to call you if you are dumb enough to put your number out there. so maybe just pick up, see how much you owe, and then tell them to go [***] their grandmother, the worlds ending in 2012 anyway, and your pet duck just stole your chevy AND your tuna fish sandwich and that this is the last thing you need to be worrying about right now. pretty sure they'll leave you alone then

I received a call from this number, he stated "State Collections". As many others this is a new cell number. I always ask if I owe you anything please send it in writing.

I just got a call from here. When I asked what type of business they were they said "state collections". I had called from a blocked number on purpose, he asked me to give my phone number so he could check on why he was calling me. I said no, I want to know what type of business you are. He said ok, then we will just continue to call you then. At that point I hung up on him. Clearly a scam...

In the past 2 weeks i've received 6 calls from them. I always ignore the calls. But it is getting highly annoying, >_< I registered my number on that DO NOT CALL list and it seems like the number of scam calls have increased. :/

approximately 1 yr ago I received a call from this number, after ignoring the number I called them back. they were rude and ignorant, i told them I wasnt the "man" who they were looking for since I am a woman. they informed me that they would remove me from the call list, After further looking into the number it is a debt collection agency, not a very good one, and they need to rethink who they hire. So today out of the blue I get another call, approximately 1 yr later with them asking for the same person they asked for one year ago. The person asked me when did I get the call, I told him right now, since I am talking to you (OMG), you called..... He told me that my number was removed, so my question back was then why did you just call me looking for that person who I am not. He became verbally hostile, so I returned the kind remarkes. There is no reason for such individuals to randomally harrass people. Is there a federal agency that monitors such callers to put them out of business?

Recived call 877-805-1043, they are a collection company, State Collection Service, other #800-477-7474, addresses, P. O. Box 6250, Madison, WI, 53716 or 2509 S Stoughton Road, Madison, WI  53716.  Collection for REDCATS, no idea who that is but that is what I was told.

They call MY BUSINESS everyday at least once. I answer they hang up. I am reporting them to every place I can think of and everyone else should do the same. My business is new and was probably someone else's number prior to being mine. I have decided that instead of saying hello, from now on they will get a VERY VERY LOUD WHISTLE BLOWN IN TO THE PHONE. Sick of it!

It's "State Collections"

They obviously collect for multiple different businesses, but mine was in regards to a late People's Gas bill.

This is a collection agency and do not call lists do not apply to them.  I received a call from them called them back and the guy on the other end said he was with State Collection Agency and told me who he was looking for.  I told him he had the wrong number and asked that my number be removed from their system.
