This is a bogus customer service number. They took money out of my bank. They are called PRO TECH ALARM SYSTEMS LLC. They took money right out of my bank just like the AYO-ADE-ONE VISION PLACE did! This really needs to stop. Got the notice from the bank on 10-4-2010.

This company is charging my checking account every week without permission.  They are Pro Tech alarm systems out of Tampa.  If you are having the same problem, post here for others to know

see these people continuously [***] us and yet the boneheacd government still invites them over to our "happy country" for they could continuosly rip off the hard working honest citizens and the elderly. im only 32 but these [***] have been doing this to my grandfather for weeks hes 80 i have power of attourney now who knows how long theve really been doing it

Pro Tech Alarm Systems LLC is a bogus company and 877-811-0081 is a bogus phone number.  They have ripped off my mother - an 83 year old widow living on Social Security.  Talk about SCUM!

Took money from my father's account, just another scam, hope someday they shovel coal to keep me warm in hell!

The same for my mom who is 92 and only has Social Security as well...both "companies" as well as Altcharge.com did the same to her ranging from 200.00 to 387.00. Just found out since she moved from Fla to NY...no wonder she's telling me she runs out of money!!!

We should take this to the Attorney General as well as the Dept of Consumer Affairs...

Let's ban together..also to fight with the banks...never mind this 60 day limit...I did get one check for 279..credited back for her pending an investigation but the others I will fight - over 1200.00 so far...my "poor" mom in more ways than one!!

This is a version of the automatic debit scam as described by the FTC here http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/telemarketing/tel06.shtm  It's frequently mysterious as to how they got your account info in the first place. They might be fraudulently charging your account outright or at some time, you might have given/used your account for something in exchange for a $-off coupon,  a free trial, a free shopping card, etc., and buried in the fine print is authorization to auto-charge your account every month with bullsh*t subscriptions that may be very difficult to unsubscribe from. The methods used to get you to "agree" to the fine print is endless and they come up with new schemes every day.
To stop the billing, contact the scammer to kill the subscription and get your money back and if that fails, tell your card issuer or bank that fraud has occurred and have them refund the money and replace the account. Report to the Internet Crime Complaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx , the Federal Communications Commission http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm , the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and your state AG, as appropriate.

This happened to me today. Someone got my debit card number while we were in Orlando, FL this weekend and all of these bogus charges $600 worth showed up as transactions done in Canada. We immediately stoped the debit card and the bank is re-issuing us a new card. Today a $299 bank check draft came out of our account from Pro-Tech Alarm so it appears they are now trying to get money this way.  

We still have our debit card so be very careful. We are now closing our entire account

I just had the draft hit me today for $299 dollars. I have tried endlessly to get someone on the numbers from the check and that the bank provided me with and no answer.I have no business with these people.

I just had two $299 charges hit my account last night.  I did not authorize these and I want to know how to stop this crap from happening.  The banks just allow these "signature on file" checks to go through your account.  This is crap and it needs to be stopped!!!!

THIS IS CRAP!!! We just had a bogus check go through our account last night!! Pro Tech Alarm LLC in the amount of $299!!  How in the world are these [***] getting away with this?! We all work waaaay to hard for what little we do have. We put our money in banks so that it will be "safe." So how are they able to just snatch it right out?! NO WAY!! How in the world can we stop this?!

A fraudulent check was written to my checking account today for $89.99 from Pro-Tech Alarm Systems.  This company has not been shut down.  This has happened to me over a year after this thread was started.
