This man called to say he had a $100 gift card for me that was returned to him. He then said I approved a $3.95 charge to my credit card in November [I did not]. He then read my card number and expiration date to me and it was not mine, it was my parents. He refused to let me speak to his manager or superviser.

this number is for both IDSmarter and FunVantage, which are add on's by Unclaimed cash aka search4cash aka search for unclaimed money.they ask to many question's,then don't follow thru with the info,But,the whole bunch should be investigated, for 14day free (not) trials, charged to your account ahead of time, and added together,so you think you've cancelled, but in reality, you've just cancelled one of thoseI got duped, cause I went on the website, first, then They, called my number, which I gave on the site,e-mail address also, and it snowballed from there,I thought, wow, these guy's sound legit,so I agreed to ONE charge,of,$24.90,they Filled in The Blank's,you know?.

I called this toll free # and asked the person why I was being charged by their company.  She explained that when you sign up for satellite/internet thru dish/earthlink/comcast/time warner/sprint/at&t/etc that you are offered a free month of tech support and then you get charged when that month is up per a notice sent to your email address.  I don't remember signing up for that, but I cancelled with them anyhow.  I'm going to keep an eye on my bank account for more charges.

They took my credit card number and said they will send me $100 gift card. They said they will charge me only 4.95. They never sent me anything.

They are cheats, beware. They also charged my cc for 19.99 for no reason.

    They are scammers.

I also was duped into this scam. I am pissed.   I thought I had cancelled everything that the guy I talked to offered me.  He said that I just had to try the free trials and I would get a $100 gift card.  He said I would receive information in a packet for free shipping, feecation,  and carepress.  I was charged $19.95 to my checking account and it indicates it is a recurring charge to Oct saving club.  I called the 877-813-1264 number to cancel, but the recording said I would need my 9 digit membership #, which I could find on the website when I signed up.  I did not sign up, so I do not have a membership #.  I called on a Friday night and the customer service department was closed, and would not be reopened until Monday morning.

I got a postcard in the mail telling me that I had a 100 GC certificate for either target or walmart reserved in my name and they have been trying to contact me. Curious I called the 855 number and This guy with a heavy accent answer, that's the first aha moment. He precedes to tell me how I won this GC. 2 nd strike, I never took a survey in my neighborhood. He tells me the only think I need to do is pay 1.00 for shipping, and need my credit card number, another red flag. He tells my to get a pen to write down so information and then I can give my card info. So I played along. He gives me his name which was Johnny Adams, I wanted to bust out and laugh, when have you heard of a middle eastern having a American name like that lol. I knew then this was a scam. When he gave me the customer number in case I had any issues I hung up and called the number to verify authenticity of this claim only to be told I had 14 callers ahead of me. I then google the number and found this website. I learn years ago never to give my banking info out to know one over the phone. I asked that guy was he sure there wouldn't be any extra charges and he lied. I knew it was too good to be true. He tried to call back and I sent him straight to voicemail. Those types of people can't be trusted unfortunately. They are good for harassing people over debt and providing bogus loans.

One night about a month ago my wife checked an unclaimed property site and was sucked in by otc*savings club's webpage. The link used on the unclaimed property site looked very legit.
Anyway, I called and canceled the next day. I got the money returned to my account by threatening to get the FCC involved.
They even gave me a cancellation confirmation number.
You guessed it, today they hit my debit card for another $19.95.
Conveniently they are closed on Saturday.
I called my bank and they blocked anymore transactions from them.
The bank is also pursuing a dispute with otc*savings club.

About one month ago I answered a newspaper adv from www.GoDISH.com. They offer internet only for $19.99/month. As part of the sign up, I rcvd a free month of IT Support and would then be charged via EFT $9.99/month to keep the subscription, and I could call at anytime to cancel at the 877-813-1264 number. Of course I forgot about it completely until I saw the charge on my CC statement. Today I will be calling to cancel the subscription and inform the bank to block any further attempts to draw money from the account. I will let you know how this works out.
