- Rebecca Jamerson| 1 replyHave gotten multiple phone calls from this number on my cell phone - something about a platinum plus credit card payment being delinquent. Phone calls to this company route to G.E. Capital Corporation. I have only a gas card with this company - no platinum plus anything. Whoever input the data into their robo-dialer knowingly or inadvertently put my cell phone number, and they "can't find an account associated with the number" to fix the error. Meanwhile I continue to get dunning phone calls for a debt that is NOT mine.

- Annoyed| 2 repliesI got phone calls everyday from this Symphony bank regarding to the platinum master card. When I tried to call back they asked for my card number which I don't have. They then asked for my social security number. Meanwhile there is no customer service that I can talk to. I'm very annoyed with their calls. I want to speak to their customer service to tell them not to call me anymore.anyone know if this is a scam or not?

- John-of-Lower-Merion| 1 reply(877) 822‑2015 Robo call recorded 9 February 2015 ("Sychrony Bank in Draper, Utah" Platinum Master Card Credit Card SCAM)
Caller ID: "Sychrony"
Also calls from: **this is their first call**
This recording represents the first call I've ever received from them. Read the transcript below and notice that they're trying to trick me into calling their number which would result in an instant "business relationship" that would allow them to call me anytime they please.
Their total disregard of the Do Not Call list certainly tells us a lot about their business ethics, doesn't it?
Here is a transcript of their attempt to trick me into calling their number:

- bobfmdc| 5 repliesMy wife has a TJ Max credit card (TJX) that generated calls from Synchrony in the past. In one set of calls to straighten out accounting problems, we found that two credit card accounts were issued to her and some of her bills were thrown into an account that never sent her a bill until the payments were overdue. After long phone calls, she got the mess (theirs, not ours) straightened out--we thought--and the problematic card was cancelled.
Now we are getting calls again, so I suppose she will have to call again. HOWEVER, she will not call the 877-822-2015 number. She will call the number on her credit card.
Just as a side note, there are many complaints about Synchrony Bank and its credit card business at the Consumer Affairs website. See http://www.consumeraffairs.com/finance/ge_money_bank.html.- Caller: Synchrony Bank

- bobfmdc replies to bobfmdc| 4 repliesI can't see how to amend the posting I just made, so here are some additional facts.
My wife did call the number on her TJ Maxx credit card and found that the collections call is legitimate. She forgot to make her payment last month, and that generated the call from 877-822-2015. So the number is a legitimate call. Nevertheless, I still recommend calling the number on your credit card, not this 2015 number. - Hank HoltonDo not call us, ever. You are such a annoyance!

- tooumb replies to bobfmdc| 1 replyI had to call two times to straighten out the late interest fee deliberately forced on my account. The company has non-functioning control on their billing system, includes refund, and invoice. One. setting a designated date for auto-withdrawal didn't work. They said that I cannot pay before the date and it has to be on the date of the month. My money was ready to for the payment on that day, never withdrawn. Two. therefore, late interest charge was forced on my account. Three, I thought I straighten the matter after talking with the representative who agreed that it wasn't my fault and the late charge would be off my account. Three. I saw the late charge still hanging after two contacts with the same result that the representatives claimed that they'd take the interest charge off. Four. I have two different invoice for the next following month with two different charges on. Five. BOO you!! It's either you have an internal fraud going on due to the lack of internal control and worse of all, the management don't check the customer complaint on regular basis and it is critical that you do so to conduct your detective control as a part of your internal controllllllll!!!
- tooumb replies to tooumb"YOU" doesn't indicate the author of the message I responded to, it is the customer service I got.
- cell phone ownerRecorded message call about TJX Platinum Master Card requesting that I return call. Did not. Have no relationship with anything that sounds like this, including a Master Card. Cell phone is on "Do Not Call" List. Some District Attorney should look into abuse

- CjMy husband got this call just a little bit ago and the caller said that he was owing on a credit card and that they were going to take the money out of the bank. Well the laugh is on them and this scammer is not going to find a bank account anyway, because he doesn't have either.
