Last night, a family member got a call from this number claiming to be with Chase bank services. The person from Chase in a strong Middle Eastern accent said his name was Rick Mathews, and it was important that I call them back. The odd thing is they are calling a house where I haven't lived in for over 15 years, and are asking for me by my middle name This appears to be another scam. Chase said they are not affiliated with this phone number, and the night before someone claiming to be with Chase from 888-293-5321 called, which is a known fraudulent number. . I just finished typing out the state's attorney general consumer fraud complaint form, and will be submitting it this morning.

Same happened to me...however, the caller was a female with what I suspect was an Indian accent.

This is the number for Chase Credit Card customer service/collections. They collect for all of the differents 'brands' under Chase like BP (gas card), Border's, etc. They call under 800-424-5004 but leave a message telling you to call this number instead. the 5004 number showed up on my caller ID 16 times last night alone, between 3 p.m. and 9 p.m. Turns out they are looking for someone who listed me as a reference. I told them not to call me anymore. Have to wait & see if they follow through. And, yes, this is a collection job that was sent overseas so the operators are all Indian or Pakistani.

they called my house several times. Lookin for same first name but the last name they mumble. We have no accounts with chase. They keep calling early in the am and keep asking for information. Account number, SS ect...
I called them at this number. After a few attemts I finally got a English speaking woman who informed me their are 3 accounts attached to my number and again wanted my Name and SS or account # as to remove this number from their records. This is a scam and dont give them ANY info. I am finishing typing out the state's attorney general consumer fraud complaint form, and will be submitting it later today.
