Said "this is not a sales call".

Yeah i've been getting the same call for the past two weeks...I don't know who they are or what they want but they don't tell me on the message accept the same as above...

Ya, been getting the same call - and they are right... it is NOT a sales call - it is just a call telling you to call a number. Now, I haven't given them the satisfaction of actually calling the number (don't want to look like that much of a loser!), but I imagine the sales pitch will begin very shortly after you call them!

As all of the above, I've been getting the same call and the same message.
Is this something we should report to the National Do Not Call hotline?

Company name is APELLES it's a debt collection company. They must by law tell you both the company name and the reason for the call before you give them any information. When they called me they wanted my name and I refused until they told me the nature of the call. They refused so I went online and found their info. Even if you do have an outstanding debt they must tell you the nature of their call. You can send them a cease and desist letter regardless if you owe debt, or are like me, someone who has the old phone number of a debtor. After sending a registered letter contact the state attorney general, the fcc, ftc and the national do not call registry. if the calls continue then contact a lawyer. Apelles 195 W. Schrock Rd. I have advised this company Apellas on 5 diferent occasions not to ever call me at home or business.  They are respesenting a Bill Collector.  I have advised them that I will not pay the bill and the company has been advised also.  They call me on my job constantly I want to press charges or what ever I have to do.

This number called me twice on two difference days. They said it was not a sales call, but they had important information. I finally called back to ask they not use my cell number, and to find out what it was.

They wanted my son, who I explained was not at my number, but asked what the call was regarding. When I said there was no way to get a hold of my son, they turned condescending and told me I should treat family better. They have no clue what the relationship is. Apparently, it is a bill collection agency, and they will treat you any way they can!
They would not tell me who they were.

You can use this letter to have them cease calling you about any debt.
They have been calling me every day for 4 months, and were rude and said I had no debt- which I KNOW. I had to ask for a supervisor to get them to stop calling my number.

Apelles is a reputable number. I just got a call from them, called them back and I am so glad I did. They are a collection agency along with a few other duties. If I would not have called them back, US Bank would be putting a "ding" on my credit report. My house was broken in to and checks were stolen. US Bank was supposed to cover the small amount as I had insurance on the account. Instead, they placed the balance with this collection agency. Apelles was terrific to work with.

They call continuously and leave this phone number to call back.   When I call them back, they can't find an account for me, and do not know why they are calling me.

This is the 5th call I had from these morons.
I answered one call and said "Do not call my cell phone again"

They called my house looking for my Sister.  I have no idea how they got my number unless they went phonebook diving.  Anyway, she immediately asks for a contact number for my sister.  I asked who it was that was calling and got "Donna from Apelles".  I told her that I could take a number down and have my sister call her back, but she would have none of it.  I told her that I would under no circumstance release any of my sisters information but would gladly give her a phone number to call back.  In the middle of that statement, she cut me off and said "then we will just keep calling you" and hung up.  Oh the nerve.

Caller ID displayed the number as 000000000 so I Googled until I found this site.  I called the above number and of course they could find no record at all of anything.  Not my sister, my phone number, nothing.  It's one thing to be harrassed by these people when you do owe the debt, but they deem it necessary to call and threat to continue calling me when they know full well that the debt they are trying to collect IS NOT EVEN MINE.  I guess they figure that if they pressure me enough, then I'll give up information for someone else.

They keep on calling my cell phone I don't even know them.

I don't have any bad debts or other reason for these people to be calling me and want them to stop calling my number.

I have gotten several calls from them regarding someone whom I have never even heard of. After four times of calling back and telling them this, all I've gotten is frustration as their workers are ridiculously rude.

This idiots have left over 12 messages in our answering machine. We do not know them or owe anything. Incredibly annoying and must stop. Have reported them to the authorities.

The message goes something like this. This call is for Stephanie White..please call Apelles at 877-825-4490

Apelles. Please stop leaving messages at my number 314-412-4994 for Stephanie White, this is not her number, and I have no clue who she is.
