- RatSo what can a person do, if they are calling my work place?
- sarahgot a message on my answering machine from this number - didnt identify company, could barely understand person at that as they spoke fast. They just said to call number and left extension, also something about a photo id than another number after that. I did call the number back just to see what company it was, and it went straight to being on hold and there was no indication who it was.
- Caller: no idea
- mac the hacktoday was the second time they have called. Yesterday when they called(they did not call me by name) they left a message on my voice mail with a case number for reference and contact number of 4349. When I called them back the "lady" that took the call requested my phone number so she could look up the case. I refuse to give her my phone number and was attempting to give her the case number they left me, she became mad and demanded my phone number, because I refuse to give her my number, I was refusing to "help them solve my problem"
I hung up up on her. give out no information untill they can let you know what they have.......
PS we have no letters of communication from anyone collecting any debts- Caller: NCO

- WillWe received a call yesterday morning from "Vincent" (x1486) phone number 877 847-1486 finshing for information on our son. They have not been answering their phone because of they are victims of identity theft. In any event, Vincent had some information correct and some incorrect. We took his name and number and forwarded it on to our son. He represented himself as belonging ot a federal agency but wouldn't give any more informtaion that that.

- Caller: ?
- ShayleeFor the past several weeks, they've been calling pretty regularly a couple times a week but today they've called a few times back to back. I never answer the phone and they never leave a message.
- joThis is a scam or fishing. They might say they are calling about a student loan, but I've been out of school for *decades* and was lucky to never borrow a single dime for school. Don't worry if they have some of your details correct. Unfortunately, *so* much of our personal info. is out there, on the internet, etc. It's not hard for scammers to find.
- Sue877 847 1486 is harassing me about someone I met 25 years ago. They just called again and I told them to stop and 15 minutes later they called my x husband . How the hell did they get his name and number and why are they harassing me about someone's school loan from 20 years ago????
Bull....!- Caller: nco
- A 14 year oldThis number has been calling me for about two weeks. It is getting very annoying and is pissing me off.
- Caller: NCO
- Michael KeeneyI received a call today from this number. On two separate occasions they asked for a different person. It is NCO Financial Planning. I am on a federal and state DO NOT CALL LIST and my phone is being recording by the FTC because numerous companies continue giving me a call. Why does companies like this with reverse hook up be allowed to harass the general public over bull crap.
- Caller: NCO Financial / Telemarketer
- Call type: Debt collector
- AnitaThis number called today at 8 am and left no message. Based on what others have said, it sounds like a scam student loan debt collector. We paid off my oldest daughter's loan from college 10 years ago and did not take out loans for the other two. This sham Obama administration needs to go after crooks like these clowns who harass decent, hardworking Americans. Put someone in office who can fix this nonsense, and they would have my vote.

- MRS. BROWNI called the number back. The man said that the company was Trans World. I advised him to never call my number again. He asked what number was being called.... I asked him that the number didn't come up. He said no. Adv him to have a nice day. Bc I know from working in collections they have caller ID
- Tawny Y.These folks called; did not leave message. When I called back they claimed to be ¨Trans-World Financial,¨ and they were calling to ¨help me with a personal business matter¨ (read: debt collector). They demanded that I verify my birthdate before they would ¨discuss¨ the matter with me (I don't give out private details over the phone to strangers).
- Caller: Trans-World Financial

- SharonG| 1 replyThey are doing skip-tracing. lf you were ever listed as a contact on, say, someone's promissory note for student loans and that person has gone into default, they will call to try to track down the student. They were actually very helpful with me and took my phone number out of their system. We'll see if they actually did or not.
