Debt collector for Qwest.

Received a call from 877- 857-0191, I let it go to the answering machine because the caller I.D. was not provided. The message said a person at my phone number, (person doesn't live here, only gave first name), was two months behind on payments on  a copy machine. Pretty good trick to get a quick return phone call, huh? They also gave a return phone number different from the one they called from. White Pages search on that number, 660-269-4854, came up with Socket Telecom. I did not return the call and I blocked the 877 number.

You deadbeats are so funny. Pretty neat trick? Calling and saying what the call is about. Yeah that's pretty darn TRICKY. And FDCPA doesn't apply to commercial debts for items like copy machines so he can say whatever he wants on your voicemail.

You scammers are so funny. You think posting your bluster here will frighten people into paying bills they don't owe to con artists pretending to be legitimate creditors.

Who said anything about a commercial debt?  The poster stated that nobody by that name LIVED there (not worked there), so clearly a residence was called, not a business.

Interesting that "lol" seems to know much more about the scam than what's been posted, isn't it?
